Talk about the best Christmas Eve ever!! That little Curty had us all tricked because nobody saw this coming so soon!! So here is how it happened... We decided to start our own tradition that we get to open one present on Christmas Eve. We went in my room cause that is where our tree is and I decided to give my present first and how exciting I gave him some shoes! Then Curtis asked me to come sit by him cause he had a poem to go with his! It was titled "Stockings" and he wrote it himself and it was so cute and of course it had me in tears. Then he had bought this little stocking ornament and had hung it on the tree and at the end of the poem he told me to take it off the tree and open it up and my present was inside! And there it was!
Of course the tears were seriously flowing now and I just hugged him as tight as I could and he whispered in my ear... "Will you marry me"
I don't think you could even hear me say yes cause I was crying so much and then he was like well did you even look at the ring!!
I will have you know that Curtis picked this out all by himself and it is perfect!! I love it so much and I was way suprised!! So now it's official everybody and I can finally tell you all when we are getting married! April 12 is the day in the Salt Lake Temple and I am so EXCITED!!!
Here is the bling!!! I am so excited to be engaged and I can't wait to marry my best friend!! I love you so much babe!!
On saturday night we went on a little date night with Sheryl and Tyson and Sheryl's little sister and her date! We went and ate at Texas Roadhouse then went to temple square to see the lights!!
This tree was so pretty!! It was covered in lights it was beautiful!
Seeing the temple gets me and Curtis so excited to be back down here sometime this spring!:) I love him so much and can't wait to go back to the Salt Lake temple and marry him!!
So every year we go on our annual christmas tree cutting trip!! Here are the girls ready to go find us a tree...
....and here are the boys!!
Me and Curtis getting ready to go find our tree!
We found it!!
This is our cute little tree!! When we get all our ornaments made i will put on a picture of how cute it is all decorated!
This year for Thanksgiving we decided to take off to Montana and spend Thanksgiving there with Curtis's family! So here we are getting ready for our long drive ahead of us!
This is Paige, Curtis's cutest little neice, and you just love tickling her cause she has the cutest little giggle ever!!
Me and Paige just hanging out!
Curtis and Eric like to wrestle alot! Eric uses his ninja turtle powers and usually beats Curtis up and has him begging to stop!!
Me and Curtis are getting crafty and getting the table decorations ready for Thanksgiving dinner!
On Thanksgiving morning Curtis's family has a tradition of going and cutting down Christmas trees! That is where we are we were just getting in a little shooting practice for our big hunt on Saturday!!
I think I look like a natural at this don't you??
Curtis's big muscles got him put in charge of cutting down the Christmas tree. To bad he broke the saw but don't worry he just used his bare hands. He is so tough!!
His big muscles also got him in charge of pulling the kids around on the sled!
It was so fun watching Curtis get a little picked on by his sisters Emily and Molly! He picks on them plenty so he sorta deserves it!!
Then sweet Emily was so nice and gave Curtis a nice massage!
This is their backyard with a few deer roaming around! We were going hunting the next day but I thought we should just hunted in the backyard... It would have been alot easier!
Here we are taking a little break to drink some hot chocolate while we are hunting!! Unfortunately we came home empty handed. Too bad we didn't just get one in the backyard! But we had lots of fun and got ourselves a good workout!! Overall we had a wonderful time!! Thanks so much to the Leishman's for letting us come up and stay with them! We love you guys and always have a great time!!
Dad decided that he wanted to take us all bowling for family night! So we decided to go check out the new Fat Cats at the Junction. We went and ate us some pizza before we went and got our bowl on!
We were minus mom and dan cause mom was in Park City helping Matt and Dan was at work. We missed them!
Yummy!! I think dad is really enjoying his breadstick!
Time to Bowl!
I'm pretty sure Curtis picked up the spare on this one! Look at that great form!
Then we decided to hit up the arcades! Dad and Curtis loved the hunting games!
They are really focused!
Look at them guns! Dad showed that punching bag who is boss!
I think this was Austyn's favorite game!
Isn't he Cute!! We all had a way fun time! Thanks Dad!!!
