Horseback Riding

Yesterday, we all went horseback riding at the Colorado Monument. It was so beautiful and fun. My horse, Chocolate, kept thinking it would be fun to run up and down the hills. So that was quite the adventure. This is Ryon, my co-worker, then Stacey from the Farmington, NM office and Leila from the Denver, CO office.
This is me and my horse, Chocolate!

After going home to clean up, we went over to Kim's house for some amazing Mexican food and then to watch the final Lakers/Nuggets game. My co-worker Ryon, who apparently is a chef, made us the most delicious Crème brûlée I've ever had. This picture is the best! If you'll look on the left you can see Paul's concern about the torch Ryon is using. :)

He's just a little concerned!

Does this hard hat look good on me?

Today I finally got to go out into the field. Here I am in my fantastic Halliburton PPEs!!! Notice the green hat? That means I'm a newbie and I pretty much am not allowed to touch anything. But here I am at the top of the rig. :)

There's the rig from down below. It looks so much smaller in this picture for some reason.
I was highly amused by the sleeper in the truck. And we figured I might as well take a picture. It was quite the climb to get in there.

Bolder Boulder: Take 4

This weekend, Katie and I ran our 4th Bolder Boulder together. It was my worst time EVER! Every year I seem to get slower. :)Dan and Paul came to watch. Paul is a fantastic cheerleader!

Halliburton

I know, I haven't been much of a blogger. But I thought I'd share my internship experiences. I started my internship at Halliburton 3 days ago, May 4, 2009. It included a lot of reading and getting clothing, shoes, and finally a computer so that I'd be ready for work. Today Ryan and I went to Rifle, CO to the Energy Expo to set up a booth and talk to community members and other businesses about our company. The BD guys: Marshall, Dustin, & Kyle came too. It was a long 11 hour day!
