Fruit Dip

Boston loves his fruit dip....,,,

Boston is a fairly picky eater. I'm sure most mother's feel this way, but it seems like half the time I put effort into making him something and then he wants nothing to do with it. He has a few things that he eats all the time, chicken nuggets, pancakes, cold cereal, fruit snacks, grahamn crackers, french fries, ramen noodles, edemame, peas and carrots, bananas and mandarin oranges. He hates chocolate, but loves almost any other kind of sweet treat as most kids do. He has also been exclaiming "Hot Hot!" if any of his food is the slightest bit warm, which I think is his way of trying to get out of eating it!
For those of you who don't know, I'm pregnant again, and the "morning sickness" makes my desire to cook slim to none. So, I've been doing something my Mom would be ashamed of, which is buying a lot of easy to fix prepackaged meals so my family can survive the first trimester. I thought this pre-made fruit dip from Harmons looked good the other day and now Boston is addicted! I thought he could dip his fruit in it, but he decided it was much tastier to just eat it by the spoonful! Another weird thing about Boston is he hates anything cold, which means ice cream isn't a hit, so I guess I'll let him have his fruit dip for dessert! ( p.s. we don't usually feed him on the floor!!)

A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Sorry it has taken us so long to update since the Holidays. I'll blame it on JT since he's the one who know's how to post pictures and I suppose it's partially my fault because unless I write something, the pictures get lost in the seas of our digital camera.
We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Even though Boston doesn't get the whole concept of Christmas and the whole Santa thing, he had so much fun with his toys. It was hard for us to get him to move on to the next thing and everytime he opened something I swear he thought "Mom what have I done to deserve all this!!" He was really good the whole day and really spoiled ofcourse! We went to JT's Mom's house that morning in Orem and then my parents came up and we met at my Grandma and Grandpa Olsen's for the traditional family Christmas party. I look forward to that every year.
As for New Years, Boston was in bed at his usual 7pm (although the little stinker didn't fall asleep until 8:30pm and JT and I were both asleep by 10pm!) I know we're party poopers but once you get in the habit of waking up at 4am, staying up until midnight is nearly impossible!
Boston just turned 18 months on the 4th of January and I can't believe what a little man he is becoming. Ofcourse I want to keep him my little baby for as long as possible. He is so tender hearted and nurturing (in a boyish sort of way!) He still LOVES his Curious George and he's started feeding him with a bowl and spoon now. He goes to the drawer where I keep his little plastic stuff and I know it's time to feed George! George also gets more kisses than JT and I get combined! I love when he misplaces him and then when he finds him he says "aaawwww" They are the cutest friends. Boston has also been more of a cuddler lately. He'll snuggle up to me on the couch and watch TV for a bit. He's so excited about life and I love his curious, adventuresome spirit. He's also jibber jabbering a ton. (He's always been the most talkative boy I know!) Some things he says are of course "Ma Ma, Daddy, wiggle wiggle, Na Na, Blue, Choo Choo, Eyes, uh oh, NO, BOO, car, and more that I can't think of at the moment or I just can't understand!" He's also been more daring lately. I'll have JT post the pictures of him in the tub with his bubbles!
