Vacation Time

The highlight of March was a week of vacation for Josh in the middle of the month. We LOVED having him around and he was definitely due for a much-needed break. Josh's parents were able to come down for 4 days and we had fun taking them to Disneyland. It had been over 25 years since their last trip to Disneyland and we loved being able to show them around :)

Patiently waiting in line :)

Tienna can't wait to drive - so glad this is ok for now!

Grandma and grandpa were even willing to go for a ride too.

Kiara LOVED all the attention from grandpa.

One of the areas that's still the same after all the years.

Climbing on everything!

Grizzly River Rapids x2

More grandpa attention,

Grandma and Tienna completely soaked :)

We had so much fun, grandma and grandpa were willing to try anything - Screamin Over California, Tower of Terror, Indiana Jones, Thunder Mountain Railroad, World of Color - after 2 full days we were all exhausted. Thanks for coming to visit, we LOVE visitors!

Springtime Fun

The past few months we've managed to keep pretty busy. The girls have been loving trips to the park, picnics on the patio, weekends with Josh and visitors coming to visit.

February my dad had to come down our way for work on my birthday so my mom came along and we had lots of fun. We spent a day in LA at the Griffith Observatory, in Universal City and checking out Hollywood.

The view from the top of Griffith Park, you can even see the ocean!

Indoor Skydiving ... too bad we walked past this one after lunch!

Grauman's Chinese Theater. It's fun to find the classics :)

The week after my parents came was Valentine's Day. We had fun at some Valentine's parties, Kiara especially loved eating the frosting. Tienna made sure to have a Valentine for Josh; I love seeing her instigate things like that on her own. She has such a tender little heart!

Next up was a trip to the San Diego Zoo. Though nothing in particular is near us there is so much to do if you're willing to drive 1-2 hours. Anyway, we made a day of it and were able to see some fun animals and enjoy the beautiful weather.

In January Kiara finally started taking only one nap a day which I love, it's so much easier to get things done! However, this has been the result on a semi-regular basis. One minute Kiara will be running around being a typical 2 year old and the next minute this is how I find her. I love how sweet and innocent little kids are when they sleep!
