Firsts for Kenna...
So, first of all, Kenna grabbed on to a toy for the first time (at least that I noticed) on Wednesday (March 25, 2009). It was so cute to see her do that deliberately! She is grabbing on to the toys on her swing more and more. It's amazing how quickly they learn and develop. She is such a cutie!

More funny things by Bridger...
Okay, here are some more hilarious things Bridger has said lately...just want to get them all down so I don't forget!
-We've never had "pigs in a blanket" with Bridger, so I decided to make them. When I told him what we were having, he said, "Eww, well that's discusting!" 25 Mar 2009
-At dinner, Josh asked Bridger what he wanted to be when he grows up. He said, "I want to be a human!" Then about 30 seconds later, he also said, "Or a cowboy in the rodeo!" 25 Mar 2009
-This is just a wonderful word for a 3 year old to be saying, but anyway, he was running around upstairs singing "Hickory Dickory dock, the mouse ran up the freaking clock." Mar 2009
-We were sitting at the table, and here is our conversation. Bridger: "Mom, do you know what is staring at us?" "No, Bridger what is staring at us?" "It's the money we could be saving with Geico!" Okay, maybe he has watched too much TV! Mar 2009
-I was doing my infamous "pumping" when Bridger said, "I want to pump." I told him he can't, so he replied "I recognize that I am a boy, but I still want to try!" Mar 2009
Goodness, I know there are more things that he has said, but I cannot remember them...so maybe I'll remember them later to post! And I am adding the things from my sidebar that Bridger has said so that I can just delete that from the side and have the funny things in an actual post...so that is what this is below!
-Josh was watching something on TV, when police sirens came on as part of the show he was watching. Bridger was in the kitchen, hears this, turns to me and says, "What's wrong with that TV? Is there a bow daggot in it?"(Okay, I have no idea how to spell that, because it is a ridiculous word!) Where does he get these things?! ...24 July 2008
-On our way home from Lake Powell, Bridger was pinching and scratching me, so I kind of smacked his hand...he looked at me and said, "Hey, don't hit my potato!". (You know when you do rock, or knuckles or whatever you want to call it, we call it a potato after we saw it on a show and thought it was so goofy, but that's what we call it now!)
-To a little girl in church who was turned around looking at him...Bridger: "I need you to turn around and sit down please."(he told her this several times!)If you have ever seen A Bug's Life, you'll totally appreciate this...in the movie, the Grasshoppers are the "bad guy", so Bridger always thinks they are "coming" and gets nervous...he asked the same little girl as mentioned before...Bridger: "Are you a grasshopper?"
-Bridger: "I'm so lucky."Mommy: "Why are you so lucky?"Bridger: "Because I'm cute."
-After being given a bowl of cereal...Bridger: "Thanks Mommy, you're a good boy."

Yep, we're for sale!
Hi all! Okay, some of you are already aware, but if you are not, we are selling our townhome. We love it and it has been great for us, but we have too much stuff, and need a garage to put it all in, plus we feel it is time. I am so sad to leave all my awesome neighbors and friends though! Anyway, I made a blog for our townhouse so I thought I would put a link to it on here. If you could just spread the word if you know anyone who may be interested, that would be fabulous! Thank you! Here's the blog...tell me what you think about it too, if I need to change or add anything! www.eaglemountaintownhome.blogspot.com

Baby Kenna's Blessing...

We blessed our beautiful baby Kenna today! It went so perfectly and was such a neat experience! It was actually stake conference for our ward today, but Josh's brother, Adam, already had a plane ticket up so we blessed Kenna in the Relief Society room after Stake conference. At first I wasn't sure how it would be to do it that way, but we really wanted Adam to be a part of it, so we decided to do it in the RS room anyway. The bishop conducted it, we had an opening and closing song/prayer and the blessing. It was so perfect! It all went very well. We also didn't invite a lot of extended family. We had our parents, siblings, and Josh's grandparents. We couldn't invite all of Josh's aunts and uncles (mine live too far away anyway), because we didn't have enough room to accomodate everyone afterward. So, basically it was a very intimate setting and very wonderful. Kenna was an angel all day today! She cried for maybe a total of 2 minutes the entire day. Everyone was commenting on how good she was! She is a good little baby! It was so fun to dress Kenna all up for her blessing. She had the works...a beautiful dress, adorable shoes and lacey socks, a bracelet, a head band and a little ring (the cute ring was on her bracelet because it was too big for her!). She looked so beautiful, like a little princess.

25 things...
Okay, I have been tagged by Katie on her blog and I've been tagged on facebook a few times...I've been putting it off, but thought I should just go for it...this could be interesting! So, here goes!
1. I am a worrier and people pleaser...makes me crazy sometimes!
2. I love to make hairbows, hairbow boards, and bracelets, and other girly accessories...I already had a ton of hairbows made before I even knew Kenna was a girl.
3. I am not as crafty as I want to be, and think I actually want to learn to sew things like little dresses for Kenna, etc....I'm going to get a sewing machine in the near future...yea!
4. I am very logical...sometimes more than I want to be...and I think I get it from my dad.
5. I was the spokesperson at the Utah Open Golf Tournament my senior year of high school...I had to give a 10 minute speech in front of all kinds of VIPs...kind of nerve wracking!
6. I was born in California and we moved to Utah in 5th grade.
7. I'm not very coordinated...I always wanted to be a dancer...but who knows how that would have turned out given my lack of coordination! LOL
8. I started playing the flute in 4th grade...I don't really ever play it anymore and am not very good at it! I love music, just never practiced so I could've been better!
9. I love Mexican food...would probably eat it every night if Josh didn't mind!
10. I taught 5th grade for a couple of years and my worst grade in college was in my Intro to Education class...yah, that was an interesting class!
11. I have a very easy "gag reflex"...I get grossed out easily and as such, I absolutely hate having to touch raw meat, especially poultry!
12. I think I have a partially photographic memory...I remember way more than I should! For example...this kills my family, but I remember what people wear...it mostly has to be associated with an event, like Christmas of 2004 or something, but I am trying hard to shut things like that out of my memory(it's useless and kind of weird)...so don't quiz me!
13. I love gum, chapstick and lotion...those are like my three staples!
14. I love bright colors...those of you who have seen Bridger's room for sure know what I mean!
15. Some day I want a red car...
16. I love doing things on the computer like pic slideshows, and movies...and would love to do digital scrapbooking...I would love to get an iMac some day to do these things more!
17. I'm very indecisive...it takes me way too long to decide what I want to do if Josh has a day off, or what shirt I want to buy, etc...
18. I hate crowds...if a store or something is crowded I'd rather avoid it (not just because it's annoying)...it makes me feel almost claustrophobic or something.
19. I love photography, but haven't done much with it in a long time!
20. I do not like snow...I would just be fine if the weather was like it is in Southern California...I don't mind not really having any season changes.
21. Spring is my favorite season...I absolutely love all the flowers!
22. I like a lot of different music, but probably listen to country the most...Carrie Underwood is my favorite singer!
23. I love being a mommy and playing with my cute kids!
24. I'm not a huge animal lover...don't absolutely hate them, but will probably never have one of my own...all right, maybe an outdoor dog some day...but only for the kids' sake!
25. Woo-hoo! I am glad this is finally done! It was harder and took longer than I thought!
Okay, I tag whoever wants to do this...but come on, someone needs to do it! It's hard, but it's fun to read about other people! Good luck!!!
