GOING PRIVATE!!!
Apart of me feels like I am totally caving, but I know that it is for the safety of my children. I've been planning to do this for a couple days, and I have seen SEVERAL blogs that are doing the same thing as me and for the same reason. The Opera show! Did anyone else see it? To me it was the most horrific show ever. I cried watching it. There are some real sick people in this world, and I want to do everything I can to protect my little children from them. I understand they could find me in the phone book and in all reality they could probably hack their way into my blog. I wouldn't put it past them. But I will do what I can to keep them out. So yes I am going private. Leave me your email address. As long as your someone I know and not creepy you are welcome to visit with the Clarks. I will leave this for a couple of weeks so that I get all the addresses I need. If you don't come find me I will come find you. We invite all friends and family. Thanks!!

Surgery!
Surgery went great! Thank goodness it's done and over with. I felt remarkable the day of surgery and kept informing my mom and Johnny that I would have that surgery three times before ever having my tumor surgery again. Yes, I was preparing myself for the worst. I was in heaven! Now I've had pain and it definitely hasn't been a piece of cake, but it's been bearable. Each day I'm getting there. It's hard being a mom and trying to recoup and take care of little ones. Thank goodness my mommy came to the rescue again. Honestly what would I do without her. She stayed with the boys through surgery and since I spent a night in the hospital she stayed with little Jack and has been getting up with him for the last three nights. She's taken care of JJ and the house and made sure I had what I needed. Thank you mommy once again for coming to help. I don't know what I'd do with out you. And I really appreciate that you are staying one more day. I need you! Anyways, it's done and for the most part we can move on. I hope I'm done with surgeries, I've had enough to last a long time.
P.S. what would I do without modern medicine. Thank you to the drugs I love so much! Oh and lets just say I wouldn't be a good candidate as a drugy!

Life!!
We've had so much going on I've been overwhelmed to post anything. So here it goes. First we went to the Bee's game they were here in Portland so a few of us thought we'd go and support our home team. And they won. It was fun just to hang out with a few people and enjoy the atmosphere. JJ loved watching baseball and the Beavers mascot. He gave him bones and five but when he went in for a picture JJ freaked, it was pretty funny.
Lately we just get in the car and go for long drives. It's good to get out of our apartment and since we don't have anyone to really bug we just drive. It's good for me and Johnny. We find the kids mostly sleep and we can just have long conversations about whatever. It's the bonding we don't get all that often anymore, so it's much needed. Well last Wednesday we were driving and it was pouring rain it was about 9:30 at night and we were heading home. Well Johnny kept seeing little frogs jumping across the road so he stopped the car got out and caught one. He put it in a cup in the car and when we got home we woke JJ up and told him that a frog came to see him. He woke up so fast and was just full of excitement. Johnny and him named the frog Tommy and Johnny asked JJ if he wanted to take a bath with him. He filled up the tub and let JJ play with him in there. I, of course, wasn't loving the idea from the begining but I figure I have boys, get used to it and whipped out the camera. Don't worry Tommy did have to go home to his mom and dad.
Unfortunately that same night I woke up in a lot of pain and feeling like I couldn't breath. After a battle of feeling like I'm going to die we headed to the emergency room. There they took my blood poking me four times and giving me bruises up and down my arms, then just watched me. They guessed it was my gall bladder. The next day I went to a doctor he decided to run some tests on me on Friday and after a long and painful weekend, living on lortab, I found out I have gall stones. One in fact that is trying to leave my gall bladder, which can be dangerous, and a very inflamed gall bladder. The bummer news. I have to have surgery to take it out, no choice. I could live in pain which really would be a nightmare but regardless I would have to have it out because it could become life threatening. So Tuesday it's coming out. Not very fair being a mom and wife. It is something that is genetic and caused by metabolism and pregnancy. Weird! Anyway it sucks but we're going to get it done and over with.
That Friday we took JJ to the Circus. I wasn't feeling great but I wanted to be there for him. He was in total awe and I actually thought it was pretty cool. I love being a kid with my little guy. His favorite parts were the animals of course.
Then on Labor day we went to the Oregon State Fair. It was pretty fun. Way ghetto! But it was the fair. People are always fun to watch and there is definitely a different breed of people at those things, especially in Oregon. We bought 16 dollars worth of ride tickets to take JJ on only to find out he is just barely to short. My little shrimp. Note to self and everyone else measure your child for rides before buying tickets. There were two rides that he could go on. Some boats and the carousal . He loved both and it didn't matter to him which rides he went on. He sure is a cutie. Anyways that is as brief as I could be.
Jack had his two month appointment. He is the cutest thing ever I just want to squeeze him. He is getting so fun. Smiling all the time, trying to coo, and sometimes laughing. I love his grin when he sees his mommy. He pretty much sleeps through the night every once and a while I have to get up once. But he's a champ. I call him my boo. Goober boober. His eyes are always goopy. He loves his brother and his brother loves him. JJ is very protective of him and doesn't like other people to touch him. Especially children. Jack just smiles at JJ and it makes me just glow inside to see my boys together I can't wait till Jack gets a little older. I love being a mommy! His measurements!!
Weight: 11lb 9.2oz- 40%
Height: 231/2in- 60%
Head: 391/2cm- 25%
Perfect and Healthy!!
As for me and Johnny we are doing pretty good. We love our drives together, and my wonderful husband decided to start listening to more church music. We both love music. He figured if we started listening to church music as much as we did other music it would probably really help us with many things. So we have and it is amazing how much good music affects your home and family and your own personal attitude and growth. The spirit is definitely more present. We went to Deseret Book the other night to get me a good book to read and I wanted to get JJ some children's music for in the car or whatever. I love the primary songs but sometimes I need something a little more upbeat. I found this group called Insideout a cappella. We love it and went and bought another cd. They are very talented. They sing and use they're voices and bodies to create the song. You should check them out. There are fun songs and reverent songs and I feel like they all bring the spirit. Talented, amazing voices, powerful messages, makes for some good listening not only for your kids but for you also.
