Bridges Family Visit

Auntie Karlee had knee surgery on October 5. She came to our house to recuperate and Grandpa and Grandma Bridges came down to take care of her and spend some time with the grandkids. The boys loved keeping her company. They watched lots of movies and colored in coloring books.
Grandpa got some good snuggles in. I think I have pictures of him sleeping with each kid - and with each of my siblings and I. I should put them in a collage. I think it's so sweet.
We took some pictures with Grandma and Grandpa before they left, here are some of the best.

We tried getting a picture of Grandpa and Grandma with all the kids and this is how well it worked. It's cute though :)

Other news

Julian started kindergarten. This is his first day of school. He loves kindergarten and is learning to read and is writing so much better.
We celebrated John-David's 32nd birthday in September. Can anyone guess why only 1 candle is lit? I think Grandpa Anderson and Uncle Nick should know. :)
 The boys like being ninjas.
Lego Ninjago is one of their favorite movies and toys.
Auntie Karlee has been spending lots of time with us. The kids love having her around.
Randomly a HUGE dragon fly flew into our house. It took me a few minutes to get it out. I have a pretty significant fear of dragonflies (which is silly and unfounded but hangs on from my childhood). I was told as a child that dragonflies will sew your mouth shut if they stay on you and then you'll die cause you can't eat or drink or breathe. It was terrifying as a kid. I have been afraid of them ever since. The kids like them though.
More ninjas - this was supposed to be in the other set of family pics. :)

Family Pictures 2

Some of these photos are larger than others because I couldn't make the size tools change.
Alanna is so stinkin cute. We are told on a regular basis how beautiful she is. She is starting to get shy around people though.
Julian is getting to the point that he hates taking pictures unless he can be silly.
We got a few good ones though :)
These two photos describe so much of Tennyson's personality. One minute serious.
The next laughing hysterically. He is so great.
These are some of my favorite with the kids. Man, they are beautiful.

Family Pictures 1

We had family pictures taken by Laura Morris a while ago, while it was still green. She did a wonderful job. I am so pleased with how they turned out. Which one is your favorite? I can't decide which family one to use as our photo for the year.

Cousins Part 3

Before everyone went home we went to Temple Square in Salt Lake.
Before we toured Temple Square, we stopped at the Cheesecake Factory and shared a peice of cheesecake.
The boys got to throw a penny into the fountain.

We walked around the Temple and learned about some of the history. Someone was refinishing the doors and the boys thought that was really interesting.

We were able to go through the interactive Book of Mormon Exhibit at the Church History Museum. The kids had so much fun.

These brass plates were really heavy.

We had so much fun with our cousins. We can't wait to do it again!
