Snow...in Chinese

We laughed our heads off when we saw this episode of Ni Hao Ki Lan (Nickelodeon I think?) Anyways...maybe skip watching this episode with your kids because now Ben is walking around saying "snow" in Chinese (he realized its funny), and it sounds a lot like I taught my kid how to swear.

Downtown Seattle

IMG_1730-1

We spent the night downtown Seattle last night.  Its always fun to go downtown and see all the lights and decorations, and there’s always the carousel Ben had to go on twice.

My nephew Silas was as good as ever sitting in his stroller all day long.  Lucky for us it was in the high 50’s almost the whole time we were there.

Ben loved the view from up here, the lights were so pretty at night.  Ben thought all the store signs were big sodas.

Handsome boy

IMG_1475

I took this picture for my sewing blog and figured its just too cute to not be on this one too!  He’s getting so big, I can’t believe how much he’s grown since the summer.  It makes me sad but I know I’ll have my hands full soon enough!

Festivities

Did I really only post once in November?  Geesh I’m a slacker.  Mostly I’m just busy, but not really, I just think I am.  Between keeping Ben busy, sewing, and eating way too much time has flown by!  We had a great Thanksgiving, its the first Thanksgiving we’ve spent at my parents house since we’ve been married (since we spent it with them in Mexico and Jay’s family instead).  So it was really fun to be home.  Plus Uncle Ben brought his girlfriend Mercedes home, and we had so much fun!  Little Ben never ever left her alone, so between Uncle Ben and Little Ben she was totally Ben’d out by the end of the week I’m sure!  Ok here’s some pictures….I dared to take one of my largeness so prepare yourself.

The annual chicken shoot.  We let all the chickens out of the coop and have at it while they run around the yard trying to stay alive.   Ok, maybe not…..we were actually shooting inflated rubber gloves.   Still those chickens better be on good behavior and keep laying those eggs…there’s always next year.

And a sure sign of a good Thanksgiving….Jay asleep on the couch while me myself and I we pounded pie.
