Being silly and having fun

Here are some video's and pictures of Alex having a good time.

This morning he was being silly so I quickly got the camera and had to share. He has learned to do a scowl all by him self and thinks it is funny. I have to laugh every time he does it because he is trying so hard not to laugh himself as he does it. He has also gotten to the phase were he doesn't like his hands to be messy. Sometime we have to wipe his hands off just to get him to finish a meal.

Alex really likes playing my recorder he can make a good sound in it to.

Halloween

Here are our Halloween pictures. Alex got to go to one house this year, the grandparents. I think he was really starting to have a good time. Probably the most fun when his cusins came to grandmas at the same time. In the photo is Katie, Emma, and Eliza. If you can't tell Alex is a Tiger. For a while I was wondering if we would even get him in the costume. He was scared of it at first and once he wormed up to it didn't like to put the hat part on, but bye time to go to grandmas and pictures he would leave it on just long enough.

We couldn't get Tony to dress up so there isn't any pictures of him. He said he was being himself since at work he has to pretent to be someone else everyday as he works with customers. I think
he was just being lazy. I am a Mexican dancer. My sister brought this dress back from Mexico for me. It is the fun kind that twerls out big when you spin.

I thought we would get a picutre of Alex and his pumkin because he really liked it. We went to a friends house to carve it and on the way home I let him hold it. and when I went to get him out of the car I noticed he decided to try it out, there were two little bite marks on the lid. He also had a good time rolling it around.

First Haircut

Well it was time for Alex to have his first haircut I thought he was starting to look a little silly with a mullet. I fust just cut the mullet off becuase it was driving me crazy. Then the next week we decided to buzz his head. So we had him watch me buzz Tony's hair first. I was hoping this would take the fear out of it. Then it was his turn and he did really good. I think it makes him look older.

We went out there in August and took some friends. The boys went to six flags and we all went to kirkland to see the Mormon historic sights and the Midevil fair. And most important we had a lot of fun with family.

Howdy

Here is my little hilbillly. He thought it was pretty great to run around with out this shirt on and showing off his new Camo hat. It is so funny to see him like that with out his clothes to show how skinnnny he is. Now days all he likes to do is run. Run from the couch to the kitchen, back and forthand run out side. it is rare for him to just walk. Maybe I should start doing that and I could be in a lot better shape. Music and Dance the Greatest Gifts

I have discovered that Alex really likes music. He has always shown interest when ever there is music playing or if he can make the music himself. My sister teaches a children's music class so Alex and I started going and so far he seams to really like it. The other day I was able to catch him in action. There is a good chance this video could be come a blackmail video when he is older (snicker snicker). I think he is destined to be musical because for Christmas he got a little 4 key piano and for his birthday he got two musical pianos and some other instruments. Alex has been testing his balance more and more this last month. In the last couple of weeks has taken a few steps mostly when he wasn't aware. When I was at my mothers house on Tuesday we were talking and then Alex just took off from the chair, almost the length of a couch. Both of us just stopped not wanting to say anything to stop him. Sorry about the bad quality of the video. After he had done so well I wanted to capture these fun wobbly fist steps before they were gone so we got him to walk again so i could record and all I had was my cell phone. I can't believe he is growing up so fast. He will be One on Sunday the First.

First Time Swimming

This last week we spent a few days in Park City with our family for a little vacation. We had a lot of fun but I think the most fun Alex had was going swimming for his first time. He was nervous at first but quickly discovered the fun of splashing and enjoying the water. The last video Alex was playing with Emma on her dolls horse.

Walking alone!...well almost.

Alex loves to walk, but only with the help of someone else and he has had to hold both of your hands. Finally, last week, we tried again with this walking toy and he just took off, he loves it. He likes to walk down the sidewalk since there is a lot more space but we have to keep correcting his course since he seems to want to go off roading. He has now started to find the balance and confidence to try only holding one hand but just for a few seconds. I just can't believe how big he is getting.

Alex also loves to play at the park and the swings he was just swinging along and then when it stopped he leaned forward and started being crazy I was very happy I had my camera with me.

Easter Fun

Since Alex really doesn't understand Easter we didn't do much, but thanks to Nana Jaskowick and Macey's grocery store, Alex got a really cute bunny and some Easter eggs. He could care less what was inside the egg but if it made noise he loved it.

We had to give him some time to play with the wrapping it had some great crinkly plastic.
