Yogi Bear is an animation film, set for release in the USA on December 17, 2010. The film is directed by Eric Brevig abd voices cast by Anna Faris as Rachel, Justin Timberlake as Boo-Boo Bear, Dan Aykroyd as Yogi Bear, T.J. Miller as Ranger Jones, Nathan Corddry as Chief of Staff, Tom Cavanagh as Ranger Smith, Andrew Daly as Mayor Brown and Dean Knowsley as Agent Florimo.

Movie synopsis: The film’s live-action cast also includes Anna Faris (“Observe and Report”) as nature documentary filmmaker Rachel Johnson, and Tom Cavanagh (NBC’s “Ed,” “How to Eat Fried Worms”) as Yogi’s amiable nemesis Ranger Smith. TJ Miller (“Cloverfield”) stars as Smith’s diligent deputy, Ranger Jones, and Andrew Daly (“The Informant!”) as the conniving Mayor Brown.

Jellystone Park has been losing business, so Mayor Brown has decided to shut it down and sell the land. That means families will no longer be able to experience the natural beauty of the outdoors—and, even worse, Yogi and his pal Boo Boo will be tossed out of the only home they’ve ever known. Faced with his biggest challenge ever, Yogi must prove that he really is “smarter than the average bear” as he and Boo Boo join forces with Ranger Smith to find a way to save the park from closing forever.

One of television’s most beloved cartoon characters, “Yogi Bear” began as a feature of the Hanna-Barbera series “The Huckleberry Hound Show,” before headlining his own show in 1961. Yogi’s television success led to a nationally syndicated comic strip and, in 1964, he became the first Hanna-Barbera cartoon character to make his movie screen debut in “Hey There, It’s Yogi Bear.” “Yogi Bear” has since appeared as several series and one-hour specials.

Legend of the Guardians is an animated film based on the series of children's fantasy books “Guardians of Ga'Hoole” by Kathryn Lasky. The film is directed by Zack Snyder and voices cast by Sam Neill, Hugo Weaving, Emilie de Ravin, Ryan Kwanten, Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Helen Mirren, Abbie Cornish, Jay Laga'aia, David Wenham and Richard Roxburgh. Legend of the Guardians is set to be released on September 24, 2010 by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Movie synopsis: The film follows Soren, a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father's favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd's jealousy has terrible consequences--causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole--Soren's only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

Animal Shelter is a browser-based casual video game, developed and published by Spil Games for the PC, Mac Games and Linux for young female audiences, Animal Shelter educates players about the importance of proper care for animals and about the process of animal adoption through fun and entertaining gameplay. The game was released on September 24, 2009.

In Animal Shelter, players step into the role of Shelter Director, responsible for the health and happiness for a host of cuddly creatures including cats, dogs, turtles, hamsters, and bunnies. In this simulation game, players must feed and clean up after the animals and give them medicine and affection. Based on how well they do this, they will earn money to spend at the animal shelter.

Players also need to create advertisements for each animal to help get them adopted, taking photographs, writing a short description, and deciding where to place the advertisement – online, in a newspaper, or on television – while keeping their overall budget in consideration. While animal rescue and adoption processes are different all around the world, Animal Shelter provides an easy-to-learn and accessible simulation experience for all audiences to enjoy playing.
