HAISLEY'S 6 MONTHS!!

Ok, so she turned 6 Months two weeks ago- better late than never, right? Haisy is such a JOY to have in our family!! Every time I look at her, I am reminded how blessed I truly am. We just barely started her on rice cereal and she LOVES it!!

ADVENTS!!

The CHRISTMAS season has begun in our family!! It is a tradition in my family to count down to Christmas with Advents. On the fourth Sunday before Christmas we get together and read the "Polar Express" and the kids get their first gift of Christmas, which is an ornament. We then get together every Sunday after that and read a story and have goodies.
Here is Haisley opening her ornament- her very FIRST Christmas present EVER!!
Halle is very excited about Christmas; being a parent is so much fun at this time of year!! She could hardly wait to open her present. Since she has discovered the princess thing this year we decided to get her a Tinkerbell ornament. She has already broken it, but that's what superglue is for, right?

Thanksgiving...

For Thanksgiving we went with my (Melissa's) family. It is always so fun to get together with my cousins and catch up on things. Here is Brad (in case you didn't recognize him with his new glasses) and Haisley. Aren't they so cute?
Our daughter "LOVES" getting her picture taken. I think she knows how much we like it when she smiles- so she just doesn't!!
Once again- this is our child giving ATTITUDE!! I wonder where she gets it from?!!

Pumpkin Patch!!

Last week we went to the PUMPKIN PATCH!! It was so fun. Halle had a lot of fun following her Will around. (I am learning to pick my battles with her: the barbie had to come)
Cute Halle going down the "slide" if that's what you can call it.
Me and my girls. There was also a black cat blow up thing, but Halle was too scared to sit in front of it for her picture.
THANKS GRANDMA CARRIE for joining us on our field trip. We had a BLAST with you. Hopefully you will join us again. THANKS for the hamburger and flash light!! WE LOVE YOU

Haisley is 4 Months!!

Haisley turned 4 months a couple of weeks ago, but we just barely went to the doctor for her well baby. She is doing well. The doctor and nurses just "loved" her bow. They kept on saying that it is as big as her head. I don't really care- I think she looks cute with it!! Haisley is such a happy baby. We are so grateful to have her in our family!!

Long Overdue Post!!

Haisley does some of the funniest faces- here are just a few!!

Chris' Farewell

Some of the girl cousins on Brad's side. We had a wonderful breakfast at the Dinehart's after Chris gave his farewell talk. He did such a nice job. We are really going to miss him while he is serving the Lord in Guatemala.
The Boys!! Craig, Chris, Dan, Riley, Kirk and Brad

Bridal Veil Falls

For Regional Conference we decided that instead of going to church and listening to wonderful talks, we would take the kids up the canyon and enjoy nature!! We packed a picnic and went up to Bridal Veil. It was so much fun. We weren't the only ones with that great idea. It was packed.
Here is a picture of Halle trying to hold Haisley. She does ok for a while and then when she is done- she is done. She just pushes her away, so we have to be right there to catch Haisy when she is done. Halle loves her little sister!! She always wants "to touch her."

Right now Halle is really into dressing herself and putting on dress-ups. She loves her hats!! Here she is wearing one that fits, but most of the time she wears ones that are way too small.

Happy 90th Birthday!!

A couple of weeks ago, my great grandma turned 90!! We had a huge get together with all of my Mom's side of the fam. It is so awesome for my girls to have a great great grandma still alive. We love you Grandma Thomas!!

Trip to Cali Part IV

Halle had a wonderful time at the luncheon- you can tell by how much food she is wearing on her face!!
The whole reason we went to California was for this cute couple- Sean and Danielle!!
Momma and her girls- this is at the reception.
Isn't my sister the cutest?!!
We let my younger brother, Clayton, take the camera for awhile and this is one of the shots he got- Will pickin' a wedge.
Decorating the Car
Daddy and his girls!!
It was a LONG day and Haisy says it all!!

Trip To Cali Part III

Cute little Haisy- BEFORE
And AFTER (can you tell a difference?)
One night my parents took us to the beach. It was freezing, but we still had a BLAST!!
I love this picture- my Dad always loves to be in all the action. He is such an AWESOME Dad and Grandfather!!
We were getting ready to pose for a picture, but the photographers weren't fast enough. We all got soaked, but were loving every minute of it!!
Hal was freezing so we wrapped her up in a towel since the blankets were all in the car. She didn't want to leave the beach even though she spent most of the time in her towel.
Haisley was having a bit of a hard time, the wind kept taking her breath away so my Dad was trying to block the wind. He finally just took her to the car to get her all warm and away from the wind. Thanks Dad for letting me enjoy some time at the beach.
Here is my awesome husband enjoying his dinner.
Even though he's a goof most of the time- I still LOVE him!!
