Gravity

this is for illustration friday, by me tinkerbell

gravity pulls things to the ground and keep us from falling off the world but for hellcat gravity did not work. she fell into hell because that is where she belongs. the devil was there to welcome her with open arms and was pleased that her outfit matched his decor.

Witch Cat

I am a witch's familiar. Despite popular beliefs a familiar is not a pet. We are the witch's source of power and magic; we guide them through the underworld; we own their souls. When the time comes for the witch to return to the great darkness, we start a new life and find a new witch to possess.

I walk this land of mortals
dreaming their dreams in disguise.
To see into the shadows,
where the secret demons dance.
To be singed by the flames,
is ecstasy and a curse.
From ancient times to modern,
destruction lays in their hands.
Humans juggle their destinies,
these clowns of spirit and flesh;
consuming everything in their paths,
like maggots writhing on a corpse.
I dream their dreams of extinction
so they may sleep in peace.
I walk this land of mortals,
this is my ecstasy and my curse.

Retreat, Return, Repent

Where doth the wind blow?
To Hell and back, to Hell and back
To circle the flowers red and black
To answer the death knell
The tolling bell
That calls us all to Hell

What doth the wind blow?
Grey ash and soot, grey ash and soot
Clinging to the traveler’s foot
That whispers with the mocking tale
Of dark angels who vainly fell
To the narrow roads of Hell

Why doth the wind blow?
To push us down, to push us down
To make of us a jaded clown
Who on the corners sells
Tinkling, tiny bells
That open the gates of Hell

How doth the wind blow?
With might and pain, with might and pain
Standing neither to lose nor gain
The roaring rapids none can quell
Rushing with a fearsome yell
To the very depths of Hell

When doth the wind blow?
At midnight’s chime, at midnight’s chime
That strikes thirteen and never nine
Bringing death to every cell
Dark prisoners for to kill
Sending all to Hell

Whom doth the wind blow?
The merry men, the merry men
Who play with darkness now and then
Lying sickly and unwell
Ignoring what the Elders tell
About the fires of Hell
