FAMILY PICTURES!!

We had our family pictures taken a couple of weeks ago by Stephanie and I absolutely love them!! I think they turned out so good! It was a little difficult with Gracie but they still turned out so good! I tried just to pick my favorites, but I like them all so here some of them.

LIVI Turns 5!!

Livi turned 5 this year! I can't believe how big she is getting and how fast she is growing up! I just want to keep her at this age forever! She is so fun!! She LOVES Grace and is such a good helper, and Grace loves Livi too!! Livi can make Grace laugh better than anyone, I love that they are such good friends already! Livi had a busy birthday this year. It was her first day of school and her first day of gymnastics. Here is Liv blowing out candles in her birthday breakfast-crepes!

After we dropped Livi off at school, Gracie and I went and got her some balloons. I don't know if Grace or Livi liked them more but they were definitely a hit!

This was Livi sporting her leotard for her first day of gymnastics which she absolutely loves! Isn't she just the cutest!

We didn't do birthday cake and ice cream until the next day, but she still loved celebrating her birthday for two days!

Happy Birthday Livi!! We sure love you and can't believe you are growing up so fast! You are such a sweet little girl. Some of the things I love are snuggling and reading books to you in your bed on the floor (because it's much cooler than sleeping in her real bed...), and looking at all the fun stuff you make at school, I love taking you to school and having you do the 'I Love You' sign from the doorstep right before you walk in. I love you!!

Washington DC

My Dad had meetings in Washington DC this summer and since I had never been there, Greg and the girls and I decided to tag along. We are sure glad we did cause we had such a great time and it was fun to see all of the sites!! There is so much history here!! We also were able to meet up with some friends which was so fun! WARNING: MAJOR PICTURE OVERLOAD!!

Our first day we met up with our friends Ricky and Mindy and their adorable little girl Gracie and went to Arlington Cemetary. This was one of our favorite places! It is so beautiful and peaceful there! Greg definitely loved seeing all the flowers and trees there too.Livi had some money to spend on the trip that was burning a hole in her pocket! We were barely able to wait until Monday to buy something and she picked out this shirt and had to wear it right then! One of many times waiting for the metro. Greg got really good at doing the metro and all the escalators with a stroller!The butterfly exhibit at one of the museums:The D.C. Temple. So pretty!

We were also able to go over to one of my parents friends house for dinner, which was nice to have a home cooked meal instead of eating out. We also went kyaking on the Patomic River with that same friend but I don't have any pictures of it...bummer!! We had an excellent trip and had so much fun. Thanks so much for letting us tag along!! Can't wait till next time!

6 months!!

I don't claim to be a photographer by any means but here are a couple of pics I took of Gracie. She is 6 months now! I can't believe how fast it has gone and how fast she is growing up! She is at such a fun age right now! She rolls over everywhere and is always so happy and smiley! She LOVES Livi and they have so much fun together! Lately!

We have been having a fun and busy summer! We have had so much fun at family reunions, the park, lake powell, and just being outside. Here are a couple pictures from our summer, in no particular order...

It was so nice to go to the cabin this weekend. The guys all worked hard to re-stain the cabin and it looks great!
