I get to play photographer again!

Our good friends Beau and Heather are getting married in September. They asked me to take their engagement photos so they could send their invites. 

I think I did an ok job. What do you think?

Kayda and mom go to a midnight movie!

So it is mom and Kayda's turn for a midnight movie. We went with our friends Danica, Julia, Joanna, and Aunt Heather! We loaded up on popcorn and candy and had a good time. Sorry I forgot to get a picture of us all but I did take this cool picture!

Oh... we went to Men In Black 3!!! It was a very good movie even Kayda loved it!

Last day as a 2nd grader!

Today is Brock's last day as a 2nd grader. So mom took him out to breakfast! Time fly's by way to fast....

Bowling with Auntie E!

So Nicki's best friend Adriane graduated from college. Since we could no make her party we had our own for her and the kids and I took her bowling! 

We had tons of fun and love spending time with her! Congrats Auntie E!!!

Childhood memory

When I was a little girl I use to love sleeping in my parents shirts. Something about smelling your dad while falling asleep. Now I do it with Derick's shirts and the kids do it with mine and his! What's one of your favorite childhood memories?

I had some fun taking pictures of Nicki and Zack

We went to old town on friday and took some pictures of Nicki and Zack. I have to say that I think I am getting pretty good at this photo shop and taking pictures thing!

We can't stay away

Today we got a phone call from Brock's school saying that he was hit with a bat in PE class. So Derick went and picked him up. I guess they were playing baseball and the kid up to bat threw the bat after he hit. The bat came flying back and hit him in the head. THIS IS WHY YOU DON'T THROW THE BAT PEOPLE!!!!!!

So after 10 hours it got much worse. So I met him in the ER for a check up.

The ER doctor said he was ok but it was a really nasty looking hematoma. So home he went and back to work I went. IU gotta pay for all these ER visits and medical test somehow.........

Aunt Nini and Kayda day!

Saturday was the NAU graduation. Because Uncle Zack was sick Kayda got to take his place and go with Aunt Nicki! Kayda was in Heaven getting to spend the day with her Nini! I am so glad that Nicki and Zack were able to come down for a the weekend. It made my mothers day and it was just so nice to have them here.

Liver Biopsy

Friday morning I got to get my wonderful liver biopsy. Nick went with me. We were going to try and sneak her in but the Dr. said no because of all the extra radiation that was going to be there.

While in recovery I woke up pucking, The meds that they gave me to knock me out did not agree with me. So instead of a 2hour recovery it became a 4 hour recovery. Below is wonderful paint job that the dr did on me with the cleaning soap!

I have been pretty swore but doing ok. I will get the results on tuesday.

Poor Uncle Zack

Poor Uncle Zack got the nasty 24 hour stomach flu on Saturday. We ended up going to the ER because we thought for sure his appendix was ruptured with all the pain he was having. This 24 hour flu kicks your butt! SO SORRY the man got sick while on vacation!

Colonoscopy

Today I get to have the wonderful colonoscopy! So we can find out what's going on! Fun times ugh....

Summer is coming!!!

Summer is getting close! We spent the morning outside in the sprinklers! Even Kyton had fun.

Memories

So as I was finishing up all my homework and studying for finals I had a late night partner. Mckya, she was playing dress up. So I had to take a break and apply make-up and curl some hair. But I would rather have memories of midnight make-up parties than straight A's.

Verde Fair

The verde fair is in town!!!!! Yes, Crazy me decided to take all 4 kids plus Brock's friend to the fair. Yup I am crazy! But we had FUN!!!!

I bought braclets for the older kids so they could go on unlimited rides! Mckya, Kyton and I bought tickets and went on the baby rides and played games we had fun.

Of corse we went to the petting zoo. And the girls rode ponys. I will have to post those pictures later when I can get my stupid camera to download those. ugh...

This year they had a tiger show. So of corse I got sucked into paying $5 to let them feed the tigers. Oh well they had fun doing it and still talk about it!

They also made sand art pictures. I will also get those pictures up soon I promise. We arrived at the fair at 1pm and did not leave till 10 pm. I am pretty sure that we brought home a forth of the dirt in AZ with us.... Wow the kids were dirty. Before we left we went to the rodeo and the dance. My phone was dead  by then so I did not get any pictures. Sorry it was funny to see Brock and Kayda dancing together on the dance floor!
