Thanksgiving in Weatherford

We had a lovely time out in Weatherford with Neal's family for Thanksgiving. Shelby, Julie and Claire came in from Canyon, Walker came down from Oklahoma, Jeffie, Nelson, Jackson and Caroline came in from Dallas and Martha and Mark came down from Plano. It was relaxing, the food was delicious, and I hardly took any pictures.
We went down to Weatherford Wednesday evening and stayed until Friday evening, with a quick jaunt to Dallas on Friday afternoon. We went to the Dallas World Aquarium, then walked over to El Fenix and Klyde Warren Park to enjoy the pretty weather.
Before we went to Weatherford, we had a few days of down time in our own town. It was nice to relax!

Cousin sleeping quarters.

In the shark tunnel. The lighting is beautiful in there!

Ah, vacation. Why must it end?

Big Week for Miles

Miles played George Washington in the Second Grade Musical production of The Eagle and the Turkey. Ok, he only had one line, but he was one of only two kids with a named part and a costume! Here he is with his friend, Harrison, who played Benjamin Franklin.

Just a couple of days later, Miles got glasses! Turns out he didn't see all that well. Poor dude! He loves his new frames, though, and he looks so very cute.

Punkin Chunkin' Champions!

Young Academy is such a fun school. For their fall festival, two years running now, they hold a Pumpkin Chunkin competition. We teamed up with the Smiths to build an awesome trebuchet, and just happened to launch our pumpkin farther than anyone else. Last year, we came in last place, and this year, we were the champs!

End of Baseball Season

Parker and Miles both had great Fall seasons of baseball. Parker played with some old buddies on the Orioles, and Miles rejoined the Giants, with a bunch of kids from his school. Yay baseball!
