Home for the weekend

We decided to make a long weekend and go home to Twin Falls for a visit.  I love going to my mom's house and my boys can't wait to play with all their cousins.  My sister recently moved back to Twin Falls from the East coast and lives across the street so with 3 siblings in Twin, there are a lot of cousins to play with.  The first thing they always go for is the piano.

We spent a morning down at Bass Lake.  It could not have been more perfect!  The boys love the water, we went for a family paddle boat ride, and I got to visit with my sisters.  Not too shabby.

 Ashtynn and Shortstop

These three blondies were too busy to look up for a photo op

 Water baby

Family paddle boat ride.  Shortstop kept saying "Ahoy mateys" or "Avast ye scurvy pirates"

That evening we went up to Sun Valley for a concert in the park featuring an orchestra playing all Pixar songs with videos from the movies playing on a huge screen.  My sister Alicia made an amazing picnic dinner and honestly, it was one of the best summer evenings.  One to remember.

Shortstop flying around like Buzz Lightyear during that song

Dancing with Mollie…she is soooo good with my boys.  She rode in our car and the boys were thrilled!

 Kissy face!

One of my to do lists was to go to Real Deals to buy some home decor and boy did I!  I don't have pictures but I finally got some empty spaces in my house filled.  Love that store.
Going home for me means late visits with my mom, shopping with my sisters, delicious food served, late guys' nights for Mark with my brothers-in-law, my boys being tuckered out from playing with cousins and just feeling happy.  My mom opens her doors to her kids and grandkids any time, for as long as possible and she always asks us to come home even more.  I needed this recharge and I am so glad we did it.
