Rodeo

This year we decided to be one of those fun kind of families who did stuff sometimes. That decision led to a trip on Trax to downtown to the Days of '47 Rodeo. The fabulous Davis family joined us and made things even more fun.

Susie's Visit

For a short week in July my life was absolutely perfect. My Susie was in town. And it was fabulous. We hiked Stewart Falls, camped out for Studio C tickets, toured a chocolate factory and had loads of fun. I love my Susie.

Trek 2015

It's funny how many people want to go on Trek. I, on the other hand, really and truly do not want to ever go on trek. Ever. Tom, Ben, and Garrett had a wonderful experience, though. I watched the Davis kids while Jeff and Amy went on their own stake's Trek as well as the Whiting kids while Shauna and Nick were with Tom and the boys. It was a big week for both groups- trekking across Wyoming for half our family and watching 9 kids at the Davis' house for the other half.

Uncle Lawrence

I wasn't part of this picture- but I'm glad to have it. In July, after a 2+ year battle with brain cancer, we lost a sunshiny soul. I have only happy memories of Uncle Lawrence and still can't believe he and his twin brother Royall (who died on my birthday last year) are gone.

Ragnar

I love a good run. So much. And I love a good race- especially a half marathon. I tried a Ragnar race this summer hoping to love it. And while I LOVED being with some amazing ladies,  and the Wasatch Back was truly gorgeous, I kind of hated the race. Again, loved the ladies, did not love the 2 day race.

Lake Powell 2015

Our dear friends were kind enough to invite us to join us on their Lake Powell house boat again this year. Tom and Garrett couldn't make it- but we had tons of fun even though we missed them.
