Bad sign .... Christians in Muslim countries morphing into non-Christian identitites

I would understand it if Christians  became averse to the blood shedding they see on a daily basis, all of it coming from their fellow citizens of the Muslim faith ... but to actually join up in Salafist-linked  political groups, that definitely goes beyond the pale.  I guess this is a case of  "if you can't beat them, join them."

Personally, although this is a deplorable situation, I just cannot bring myself to blame them.  What would you do if you had no means of escape from the kind of islamic hell they have been born into and either don't have the means or the willpower to get out of?

Another reason for the Copts dissatisfaction with their own church is the stupidity of the Christian faith whereby divorce and remarriage is taboo.  The idiots running Christianity into the ground should shake themselves awake and see the world for what it is and not advocate the norms and practices of  over 500 years ago.

Coptic Church unhappy    Egyptian Christians are joining Salafist-linked party.

Pope of the Coptic Orthodox Church Tawadros II (the 118th and current pope of Alexandria & Patriarch of the See of St. Mark) issued a Aug. 1 decision barring Egyptian Christian Copts from joining the Salafist Nour Party. While the church is not legally allowed to issue official decisions in Egypt, Coptic activists told Al-Monitor that the parishes received oral instructions from the pope's secretariat to keep track of the names of the Copts who join the Nour Party, in preparation for barring them from the church.

Many young Copts were upset. Most of them belong to Coptic 38, a group that objects to the Egyptian Coptic Church’s refusal to grant young people permission to remarry.

These young people expressed their discontent over the pope’s position, protesting that he has always declared that the church is a religious institution dissociated from politics and that its places of worship are for only that. These young people consider their participation in any political party a question of personal freedom. Nader el-Sarafy, one of the co-founders of Coptic 38, said in press statements that joining a party is a political matter and not related to religious belief.

Gamal Assaad, a Coptic former member of parliament, told Al-Monitor, “Joining these parties is basically unconstitutional because Article 74 of the Egyptian Constitution prohibits the establishment of parties on a religious basis, and the Nour Party has a religious basis. Even if the party claims to be a civil party, it is a religious party with anti-Coptic sectarian practices, which is unconstitutional and should be deemed null and void.”.............

The hypocrisy of Muslims worldwide

When Muslim jihadis in the Middle East force non-Muslims to convert at gunpoint and even behead children for refusing to convert to their satanic creed, you don't hear the Muslim diaspora in the non-Muslim countries screaming their lungs out that that should not happen. However, when Muslims willingly and wholeheartedly show their intense desire to convert to Hinduism or Buddhism,  the hypocrites of islam find their voice aplenty. 

For those Muslims who hate islam as much as non-Muslims do, saying "I don't practice my religion" is not enough.  Get out of that satanic creed and convert to anything else. Saying you are an "atheist" is also not enough because that's like saying you live with a partner without getting married. Commitment is the key and commitment comes with a document of proof.  You need a licence to drive a car don't you .... so don't scoff at man-made regulations requiring licences and documents.

"This is a serious matter as allurement was given to poor [people] to get them converted," Dalit leader Mayawati was quoted as saying by Times of India website.

The opposition has asked the government to ensure the religious freedom of minorities as enshrined in the country’s constitution.

"The House and the country need reassurance that the Constitution will not be violated," Congress leader Anand Sharma was quoted as saying by the NDTV channel.....

It has been a difficult, sad week.  One Canadian soldier murdered by a vehicle turned into a weapon on Monday, another gunned down at the War Memorial in Ottawa on Wednesday, and the armed assailant later killed while roaming the halls of Parliament. We do not yet know to what extent the two incidents are connected. We do not know if they were in any way planned in concert, or to any degree directed from overseas. What appears far more likely is that they are connected only by a thin thread of ideology: a pseudo-religion that dreams of purification through violence, and whose only commandments are death, death and death.
There’s much the public doesn’t yet know about the men who carried out these two attacks. At the time of this writing, sources tell The Globe that the Parliament Hill shooter, identified as Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, intended to travel abroad, but had not been able to secure a valid travel document from federal officials. Monday’s killer, Martin Rouleau-Couture, had his passport taken away because he was believed to be trying to leave the country to join a jihadist group in Syria. In both cases, questions are rightly being asked about why these men, considered sufficiently high-risk to be denied the right to travel, were never charged. There will be questions about whether police and prosecutors made the wrong call, and why, and whether the law could or should have allowed them to do otherwise. ......

Members of the Hamilton-based Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada had been the sentries at the National War Memorial in Ottawa this week.

At 9:52 a.m. on Oct. 22, two soldiers were on guard at the National War Memorial in downtown Ottawa when one was shot. Witnesses reported hearing four gunshots.
Raivo Nommick, who was walking by the memorial, said: "All of a sudden I just heard a shot, turned around and there was a guy with a rifle."
More shots rang out and Nommick saw the other soldier come running over and the first soldier drop.
Nommick says he "immediately called 911."
He says the shooter had "a long-barrelled rifle" and "was dressed in civilian clothes with a hoodie and a bandana."
Jan Lugtenborg, a Dutch tourist, was waiting for a tour bus when he heard four shots.
"The guy who shot, he was a small man with long black hair," Lugtenborg said. The shooter "suddenly crossed the street with his long rifle ... running like hell" towards Parliament Hill......................

Martin Rouleau, the 25-year-old suspect, was fatally shot on Monday after hitting two soldiers in a parking lot in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, a city about 40 kilometres southeast of Montreal.
The family of the soldier who died asked that his name not be released.
Police do not fear for the second soldier's life......

Sudanese woman, Meriam Ibrahim to be freed

The power of we the people forcing the MSM to blow this in the open and put pressure on the right people in the ivory towers.... has worked.  Meriam was lucky that her husband is an American and hence he and his supporters were able to create this uproar on her behalf.  There must be thousands of women like her languishing in Muslim jails serving long prison terms or awaiting death .... and nobody even knows they exist.

A pregnant woman in Sudan is facing a death sentence Thursday unless she renounces Christianity for Islam, according to a leading human rights group.

Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, who is eight months pregnant, was convicted under the Islamist-led government on charges of apostasy - the crime of abandoning or criticizing Islam - which is punishable by death in several Muslim-majority countries.

Amnesty International said the 27-year-old was charged after a court found out she was raised by her mother as an Orthodox Christian.

In what is said to be the first case of its kind in Sudan, Ibrahim was told by a court in the capital Khartoum on Sunday that she had three days to recant her faith or face death.

Ahmed Bilal Osman, Sudan's Information minister, told the AFP news agency: "It's not only Sudan. In Saudi Arabia, in all the Muslim countries, it is not allowed at all for a Muslim to change his religion."

She also faces a charges of adultery because she is married to a Christian man from South Sudan, the oil-rich region which broke away to form its own country following a referendum in 2011......

Nigerian mothers of schoolgirls taken by Boko Haram: "We can't take it any more"

Nigerian women are extremely sad about how the West does not give a shit about what's happening to them and especially to their young girls who are at the mercy of Boko Haram. 

They are right about how the West plasters the news all over on their TVs when even one kid goes missing but when hundreds are taken in Africa, nobody seems to care.  
Our brave new world.  Whether we want to admit it or not ... life in the West is precious but life in Africa and the rest of the poor countries of the world ... they can die like flies and nobody gives a damn.  Life in the Middle East is definitely more precious than the blacks in Africa.  Admit it and get it done it!  

Imagine if 200+ schoolgirls were kidnapped in the Middle East by one of the known or unknown terror groups there. Definitely there would be more hue and cry  than what we are seeing being reported about the Nigerian kids.
Now, imagine if 200+ schoolgirls, regardless of their color or creed, were kidnapped in one of the countries of the West.

I found two items at my blog from back in October 2011 relating to the dangerous stuff emitting from this woman. It is indeed a matter of great concern that our Canadian govt. is blind to the unacceptable situation that this lady is creating for non-Muslims.

Bieszad reports that when he brought such incidents to the attention of the administration, he was told that he was “intolerant of Muslims,” and that the best solution was a better “understanding of Islam.”

“Not a single classmate, Muslim or non-Muslim, ever spoke up in support of my opinion, even on the principle that different views should be respected,” Bieszad writes..............

Academic Pay to Play:  Radical Islamists Fund One of Their Own in Ontario.Huron University College (HUC) in Ontario announced Friday morning the appointment of Ingrid Mattson, a professor at Hartford Seminary in Connecticut and former president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), as the first London and Windsor Community Chair in Islamic Studies at its Faculty of Theology.

The move validates widespread concern, as revealed in this Campus Watch article by Canadian journalist Barbara Kay and a letter from concerned faculty and friends at HUC, both published in May, that the support of several Islamist groups in funding the chair would lead to the appointment of a radical Islamist as the first holder. In Ingrid Mattson, the funders' wishes have been fulfilled.
Mattson, an Ontario native and convert to Islam whom the New York Times called, "perhaps the most noticed figure among American Muslim women," has a long history of defending, denying, and obfuscating the true nature of radical Islam in settings both academic and political.  She was the first woman and convert to lead ISNA, which has close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the 2007 U.S. v. You know that's true, don't you?  To begin with, you had to have been a prime nut to convert to the cult of islam and then after that imagine the tonnes of insanity the club members will shove into you.   Converts to islam, IMO, are walking time bombs.  If I was a somebody in the secret services,  these are the nuts I would keep a close watch on.

Ashraf Islam, 31, was arrested after making the threat in May last year. Islam was born Mark David Townley in Belfast, but changed his named to Ashraf Islam following his conversion to Islam.

He normally lived in Northern Ireland but was of no fixed address at the time he was charged....

Mother blames government for jihadi son's death

Check my last post with the RT video.  In that vid a Belgian father blames his govt. for not having stopped his son from going to Syria.  Here in Canada, there's a mother blaming the Canadian govt. for the death of her jihadi son in Syria.

First and above all, the jihadis going to Syria are, IMO, the products of bad upbringing and the parents are to be blamed for that ... not the government.  The Canadian jihadi was a convert.  What was his mother doing letting him become a muslim?  If she was  not able to stop that from happening how does the woman expect the govt. to keep an eye on him even though, according to her, he had terrorist ties?   Stupid parents have stupid children. Period !!

The mother of a Canadian jihadist killed in Syria wants to know why the government issued a passport to her troubled son even though he was under investigation over his ties to extremists.

Two months before leaving for Syria, Damian Clairmont was able to renew his passport despite being under surveillance by the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the family said Monday.

The 22-year-old was reported dead last Tuesday. A friend said he was killed by a rival anti-Assad rebel faction. His family wants to know why the Canadian government didn’t try to stop the youth.

“In my eyes, the government is just as guilty as if they had pulled the trigger themselves,” the mother told the National Post in her first public comments since the death was announced. She did not want her name published in order to protect her other children.
The Calgary woman is angry that — even as it was investigating Mr. Clairmont, a Muslim convert who had a history of mental illness and had attempted suicide — Ottawa gave him a new passport and failed to notify his family that he was involved with extremists.........

LaRose risks life imprisonment which is being called for by American guidelines. Her arrest in 2010 generated world headlines as her appearance as a white Texas woman didn't fit the stereotype of an Islamic terrorist.
"News of LaRose's arrest spread shockwaves throughout the West, as people recognized that the face of the terrorism threat had changed forever," prosecutors Jennifer Arbittier Williams and Matthew Blue wrote said in a pre-sentence filing.
In anticipation of Monday's sentencing they added; "The world is watching, and this sentencing presents an important opportunity to send a strong message to other lonely, vulnerable people who might be enticed by online extremists promising fame and honor."
LaRose was charged in 2010 with conspiring to kill Vilks. As part of her preparations it was reported by US media that she visited Sweden to live with and train with jihadis and to kill her target, Lars Vilks.
She was arrested in 2009 and admitted to terror charges two years later. She pleaded guilty to terrorism, plotting to kill in a foreign country, lying to the FBI and attempted identity theft.....

Will the new Egypt be more acceptable to citizens converting to Christianity?

We must keep a close eye on how the new rulers of Egypt treat Muslims who might want to convert to the peaceful creed of Christianity.  Although,  Egypt has been one of the very few Muslim countries where a convert to Christianity is not killed or imprisoned,  there have been many stories like the one below.

It has been more than 22 years  since Tito Momen was arrested in Cairo, Egypt, for converting from Islam to Christianity. At that time, Momen, who was being trained to become a leader among clerics and struggling with alcohol problems, says he knew that being a Christian in Cairo was a dangerous situation.

"I knew that they would be very mad and disappointed in me," Momen says about his conversion. "In the community, they couldn't forgive me."

The Egyptian Constitution seemingly allows for religious freedom, but the government does not recognize Muslim conversions to Christianity, or the Mormon church at all, even though a branch has been operating in Cairo for almost 40 years.

That unrest continues today. In April, a mob attacked the main cathedral of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Cairo during a funeral. Shortly after Egyptian President Mohammaed Morsi was overthrown in the summer, there had been almost 40 attacks on Coptic Christian establishments -- schools, churches, businesses -- in the two days following the raids on pro-Morsi encampments. Last month, a drive-by shooting on a wedding party at the Church of the Virgin Mary in suburban Cairo killed three and left 18 wounded.

"What's happening in Egypt has only gotten worse since I was there," he says.

God has a weak spot and He is a sore loser too, says Pope Francis

"God's weak spot is his love for those who are lost" says the conniving, crafty, pacifist pope.   

In other words this guy wants us to love murderers,  headchoppers, rapists, pedophiles and every kind of vermin because in his opinion, they are just "lost."  

And, I woke up today promising not to lose my cool!

But, truth be told, I think  this man has had some training in PR tactics.  His sermons and speeches are working, if reports are to be believed.  Many new converts worldwide and an increasing number added each day to his fan base.  So ... although the stuff he says is stupid,  the stupid are lapping it up and joining the peaceful fold of Christianity.   All's good.

God has a certain weak spot of love  for those who are lost or have strayed furthest from him; they are the ones he goes out to find, Pope Francis said.

It's because God is a sore loser, he added, saying God doesn't like losing his children.

"He searches for all those who have strayed from him. Like a shepherd, he goes looking for the lost sheep," the pope said at his early morning Mass in the Domus Sanctae Marthae Nov. 7.
In his homily, the pope looked at the parables of the lost coin and the lost sheep in the Gospel of St. Luke, where Jesus is responding to the Pharisees and scribes who were scandalized and complained that Jesus welcomed and dined with sinners.
Their grumbling "is the music of hypocrisy," the pope said, according to Vatican Radio.

The people who complained about Jesus "believed that to be religious, to be good," meant having everything go well in life, to be well-mannered "and many times to pretend to be well-behaved, right?" he said.
"This is the hypocrisy of grumbling" and complaining about others, the pope said.

God, however, is joyful, he said.
"He is a God who doesn't like to lose anything, he is not a good loser and for this reason, so as to not lose someone, he goes beyond himself, he goes and searches."
God's task is "to go looking" and "to invite everyone, the good and bad, to the celebration."
God "has a certain weakness of love for those who have strayed the furthest, who are lost," Pope Francis said. "He goes and looks for them" everywhere, like the woman who lost a coin and searches carefully until she finds it.
And like the woman and the shepherd, God rejoices after finding what was lost, the pope said......

Idiotic Iran is ignorant that ceremonial wine is sipped by Christians at their religious services

It's hard to believe that some of the best doctors and computer wizards are a product of this country. Maybe their full potential is achieved only when they migrate out of a country that's  become brain-dead because of their 24/7 headbanging to the cult of islam. Can this nation which is a shade less cavemen-like than their brother Sunni shitdoms, be actually trusted to use uranium only for peaceful purposes?  If they are ignorant of the simple norms that go with a peaceful religion like Christianity,  what else are they ignorant of? 

Perhaps they want to set an example by coming down hard on Christians because, if various reports are to be believed, thousands of  Iranians from the Shiite and Ahmadiyya communities in Iran and elsewhere are converting to Christianity.  Whether it is because it helps them to migrate out of their brain-dead countries or because they genuinely want to step away from the killer cult ... that's something left to them to taqiyyah about. 

One thing to be thankful for:  If a Sunni converts to Christianity, the unfortunate one is beheaded pronto in Sunni countries. However, to date we have not heard of  Iran condemning Muslims to death for converting to Christianity. Imprisonment... yes. Hundreds of converts to Christianity must be languishing in Iranian jails as their cavemen Constitution cites Apostasy as a major crime.

Four Christians sentenced to 80 lashes  in Iran for drinking ceremonial wine during communion service.

Four Iranian Christians have been sentenced to 80 lashes for drinking ceremonial wine during a communion service and possessing a satellite radio antenna.

The harsh punishment comes amid a government crackdown on Iran’s so-called “house churches” – where worshippers gather in unofficial buildings to conduct Christian ceremonies.

The four men, Behzad Taalipasand, Mehdi Reza Omidi, Mehdi Dadkakh and Amir Hatemi, were originally arrested in the middle of a service just before Christmas last year. They were finally sentenced for the crimes on October 6 and given ten days to launch an appeal.

Reacting to the punishments, Chief Executive of Christian Solidarity Worldwide Mervyn Thomas said: “The sentences handed down to these members of the Church of Iran effectively criminalise the Christian sacrament of sharing in the Lord’s Supper and constitute an unacceptable infringement on the right to practice faith freely and peaceably.”

He added: “We urge the Iranian authorities to ensure that the nation’s legal practices and procedures do not contradict its international obligation under the International Convent on Civil and Political Rights to guarantee the full enjoyment of freedom of religion or belief by all of its religious communities.”

It is estimated that 370,000 Christians live in Iran and, despite assurances from President Hasan Rouhani that the harsh treatment would be scaled back, a UN special report into Iranian human rights criticised the country for routinely punishing non-Muslims for violating Islamic theocratic laws.

Ahmed Shaheed, the man behind the UN report, wrote: “At least 20 Christians were in custody in July 2013. In addition, violations of the rights of Christians, particularly those belonging to evangelical Protestant groups, many of whom are converts, who proselytize to and serve Iranian Christians of Muslim background, continue to be reported”......

If someone is stupid enough to convert to a killer cult  then that someone is stupid enough to be brainwashed into  killing anybody, anywhere, anytime.

.....But the journey from hijabi to terrorist is another matter, more complex and less easily explained. Research I have reviewed shows that, in many cases, the women are pressured by their partners, as may have been the case initially with Samantha Lewthwaite (whose husband was also a convert). Muslim husbands and even the Muslim community at large may question their suitability and devotion: it is not unusual for a female convert to be told that she is "not a proper Muslim wife." Consequently, whether out of a need to please or to prove her mettle, for some women the response is simply to travel deeper into the orthodoxy. They may raise funds for jihad, or assist in recruiting male jihadists – or, as is the case with some of the female members of the Dutch radical Hofstadgroep network, join in the sitting-room gatherings of their radical husbands and lovers, absorbing the discussions – and the beliefs. Such activities can even influence women born into Islam; but for converts – especially those who either are eager to prove themselves, are too naïve and uninformed to know better, or both – they pose a particular danger.

It is, in fact, especially that lack of knowledge, according to many experts, that can lead down the path to radicalization, as much among women as men. Jolande Withuis, a Dutch researcher who has written prolifically on the subject, points out that for many of the radicalized women, the desire to know more about the Quran and its teaching leads them to the Internet, where they land in Salafist online communities eager to embrace them into their world. For a jihadist recruiter, after all, nothing provides a better foil than a Muslim woman who does not look as if she's Muslim – someone, say, like the blonde and blue-eyed Jihad Jane.

Those recruits are also among the most effective, according to French Islam expert Olivier Roy, who in 2006 told the Washington Post, "For al Qaeda, converts are not just tools to get past security. It's a way for them to become a global movement."

But if the growing number of radicalized female converts to Islam is disturbing, at least as troubling is the absence of any real effort to combat it, both from within the Muslim community and from without. This seems especially true in the United States, where it would appear that the threat is becoming particularly acute. Nicole Mansfield's father, in fact, claims he contacted the FBI about his daughter long before she left for Syria; and while they followed her for a time, nothing ever came of it. "She'd go make U-turns," Gregory Mansfield told the Detroit Free Press, "They'd make U-turns. She'd pull into a parking lot, they'd pull into a parking lot.".....

The mysterious disappearances of idiots who venture into Muslim "terrority"

I wonder if we will ever know what happened to the ex-husband of Zainab Khadr, she from Canada's royal terrorist family.  I would think that Zainab's brothers (at least one of them) who is definitely on CSIS's payroll would be able to help Terry Ritchie, (see below) at least because the nincompoop Josh Boyle was once married in the Khadr family.  But then, Muslims are known to kill their own offspring and siblings in "honor" killings ... so you can't expect them to give a crap about an ex-brother-in-law can you?  

The only individuals I feel sorry for in this prime saga of stupidity are the American parents of Caitlan Coleman, the woman who let her heart rule her head and marry a convert to islam, an idiot who was once married into a terrorist family. 

ONE YEAR AGO today Perth-Andover resident Josh Boyle or someone using his bank card made a withdrawal from his account at an ATM in Kabul, Afghanistan. That was the last anyone heard from him or about him in any verifiable way. The day before he sent an email to his family in Ottawa from an internet cafe south of the capital saying he was not in a safe place. He certainly wasn't. In that area he had more than ruthless warlords and druglords to worry about. A rogue band of kidnappers and torturers associated with US Special Forces was also operating in the same area at that very time. A couple more or less matching the descriptions of Josh and his American wife Caitlan were seen being kidnapped from the van in which they were travelling to Kabul shortly after Josh sent his email. Caitlan was seven months pregnant at the time and would have had their first child sometime in November or early December. Their trip to Kabul was a last minute sidetrip after a tour of the eastern countries that used to make up the former Soviet Union, although co-workers here knew he had converted or was converting to Islam. Josh kept a prayer rug rolled up in the basement of the call centre where he was an employee for less than a year, taking time off to travel in Central America. He was given special breaks from his job as a customer service representative to pray at appropriate times, co-workers say.......

.......The body of a young woman was found along the road to Kabul near the site where the Boyles apparently were kidnapped and only hours after that incident. Afgan, Canadian and American authorities have never said whether she could have been Caitlan Boyle - or even whether the victim was white, or pregnant.........

Why would an Armenian woman hide her roots and pass off as a Turk?

 
Her survival and the survival of her children depended on her deception. When Muslims take over, the only way to survive their brutality is to either convert to their cult or pretend you are one of them.  Even today, mass graves from the genocide of Armenians are discovered all over Turkey.  Oft times skulls and  human bones are found at construction sites  and yet the govt. of Turkey remains adamant that  no genocide was committed.

This story makes me wonder how many more Turks are really Christians but don't know it because their grandparents opted to live as Muslims to escape the blood-thirsty murderers.  Will those living tell the truth and have the dead taken their secret to their graves?  The calamities the Muslims have rained down on Christians are vastly terrible and encompasses so many corners of the world.

Woman in Turkey Reveals Armenian Identity after 82 Years. Just one day before she passed away, a woman in Turkey who had hidden her Armenian identity for 82 years revealed the secret to her youngest son.  

Hoşana, who was brought up as an Alevi in a Kurdish village, told the secret to her youngest son, journalist Ahmet Abakay.

Abakay is the president of a journalists’ association,  and has now published a book titled Hoşana’nın Son Sözü (Hoşana’s Last Word), which details his mother’s story.

“How can a person hide her Armenian roots for 82 years from her family, children, grandchildren, and her environment?” asks Abakay, according to an article on the Turkish website T24.com.tr.

In recent years, countless stories of Turkish and Kurdish persons revealing their Armenian identity have appeared in the media.
