T-Ball & Bike Riding

Asher is on a T-ball team this summer and has been having a great time. It is so cute to watch the three and four year old kids running around aimlessly as their parents yell instructions to them. Very entertaining! Asher also learned how to ride his bike without training wheels a month or so ago. I had been working with him on it off and on for about a week when we finally went to the church parking lot so he could practice. He had it down in about 20 minutes! I have never been so proud of him!!! He usually is a little timid about trying new things so I was surprised when he finally picked it up. Yeah Asher!

The Cabin

We recently took a trip up to the Deputy cabin at Pineview reservoir. It was a lot of fun even though it rained every day except one so we only got to take the boat out once. The water was on the chilly side (ok it was freezing) but we toughed it out and did some surfing, wakeboarding, and air-chairing anyway.

Asher's Birthday

Asher had a Star Wars birthday party this year. It was a lot of work for mom but Asher really loved it and I think that all of the kids had a good time. I made light sabers for everyone out of pool noodles and little jedi outfits for all of the kids. Asher was dressed up as Darth Maul (his favorite Star Wars character). The night before his birthday he slept over at Grandma and Grandpa Deputy's house. He came home the next morning to a BIG surprise... Justin and I bought him new furniture, including a new big boy bed with Star Wars bedding. Laying on his bed was a Star Wars back pack, Darth Maul mask, and light saber. Asher was in heaven!!!

Asher on his new bed- notice the Star Wars jammies as well. He is obsessed!

Oaklie's Birthday

Ok, so Oaklie turned one March 5th and I am slow at posting pictures.  Yeah, my life is busy to say the least!  She had her immunizations a few days before her birthday party so she wasn't feeling so good (notice the rosy cheeks and runny nose).  She was a pretty good sport through it all!  We love her!

Video Games!

While we were visiting my family in St. George during the holidays, Asher was glued to Uncle B.J.'s side playing the Lego Star Wars video game.  Justin has been pretty firm on not getting a gaming system for Asher and this made up my mind as well.  He was stuck in front of that T.V. for over three hours (having the time of his life)!!!  He is cute though!  So is B.J.!

Christmas

Just a little late on posting some Christmas pics.  We spent Christmas of 08' in St. George with my mom and step-dad.  It was so much fun and the kids had a great time.

Asher and Oaklie in their Christmas jammies.  So cute!

I know this is a bit late since Oaklie just turned one but I am doing some catch up.  More posts coming soon!  (Blogging is just not my thing!)
