Jake Crashed

After such a long day celebrating Annalise's birthday Jake came home and played some more. Then he totally crashed! It was too cute!

Annalise's 6th Birthday

Happy Birthday Annalise!! We had a fun time celebrating as a family. Annalise loved getting a new leapster game, new church dresses, a new barbie, a new coat and so many other fun gifts! She chose to have two different colors of frosting for her cake. She's so cute! For her family party she chose to go to Inflatable Wonderland and play play play! We had dinner at the food court in the mall and the kids had a great time jumping around and getting all of their energy out! Jake loved this new adventure since he had never experienced anything like this before! The girls had a blast playing together. They went from inflatable to inflatable! They even took turns going down the slide with Jake - which he loved! It was a really fun party for Annalise and a great family memory.

Christmas Morning!

The girls are always so excited on Christmas Morning! Grandma Dayton made the kids their own robes for their Christmas present and they loved them!! Jake was given his own robe sack! He loved sorting through his stocking and just hanging out and being surrounded by all of the noise and excitement. All of the girls were given "fur real" pets and they were pretty excited that these could move on their own! Annalise had wanted a barbie book from the book fair at school and without her knowing it I had gone and purchased it. She was thrilled to open it up Christmas morning! Megan and Ally were both given new barbies. Megan thought it was really cool to be given the prince from princess and the frog! It makes it so much more fun to have a boy barbie in the mix! haha All of the girls were given little mosaic craft toys where they get to decorate different pictures with little glittery squares. That was a big winner! It was a really fun morning and the girls all were very happy with everything.

Christmas Eve 2010

Every year our kids get to open one present on Christmas Eve - it's always the same thing, but it's still fun to see! They loved their new pajamas and they all looked so adorable in them! We did our traditional reading of the Christmas story and then Josh read some other Christmas stories to them from books we have from Grandma and Grandpa Dayton. Jake loved hanging out and playing with the "toys" underneath the Christmas Tree! There is always such magic when the kids go to bed! It's a very sweet atmosphere. I love how the kids have the opportunity to focus on the real meaning of Christmas with us before the adventures of Christmas morning.

Playing in the Rain

On Christmas Eve it was raining outside and so the girls decided to go and play in the rain! They went from the front yard to the back yard. Jumping on the trampoline to doing dance moves on the driveway! They were so cute outside giggling and laughing! They loved it! Their clothes got so wet!! I love the picture with Ally jumping on the trampoline and Megan running out to join her as fast as she could!

Watching TV

The Girls were relaxing watching television and when I came into the room I saw Jake just chillin' with them! It was so cute seeing him hanging out with his sisters! They all had their new pillowcases on their pillows that Miss Hendrix had made for them as an early Christmas present! These kids are too cute!

Ward Christmas Party

On December 18th we had our ward Christmas party, so we came home from San Antonio that day and were able to go and enjoy time with our ward family. The girls were really excited to be able to see Santa Claus. Brother Nevins did a great job!! It was an enjoyable evening.
