how much would you pay for a Posing Giraffe??

I love this picture. Linnette took Jason and Leah to the Zoo, and I am not sure how much she paid the Giraffe, but he (she?) totally posed. So fun!

Jason Stars in Willy Wonka

We got to see a fun production of Willy Wonka and we happened to be related to the cutest little Oompa Loompa in the whole cast!!!
jason was so cute and enjoyed being a star! We loved watching him.
Leah got to go see it four times I think. And she could have seen it more. Now we are saturated in the songs from the play for the rest of our lives I think! Good thing that they are cute songs!

We all love our Jason!

BRAD gets old... for the 14th time!

We only got to see Brad for a few hours on his bday. He came home from school, only to leave withing an hour for a camping trip. We took advantage... decorated (Kiera did the decor - note the TP for streamers -we have streamers), had pizza and cake and opened a few presents. He wanted a phone SOOOO bad. We got him an ipod touch case from the dollar store, and it was so funny, b/c he could not figure out if it was a real phone or not! We love this boy! He keeps us all smilin!

Happy Birthday Brad! You are an amazing young man! We all love you!

Bernhard Museum

Back in the day...
That's where the kids went on this field trip. back to the 1890's. It was quite a trip.
they made their own butter and biscuits, ground wheat, learned how to do laundry a whole new way, did crafts, played games... all from days gone by. I loved that I got to spend this day with Jared. He is amazing.

Jennifer and Todd visit

It was such a fun day... Jennifer and Todd were in town not for long, but the visit was great. They had been in San Jose where Jennifer had received an amazing award from a Rotary club. it was a nice honor. We got to have them come to Taylor's volleyball game, cheering and screaming and doing the "egyptian mating call" (if you haven't heard it, ask Jennifer for a demo next time you see her). the game was a nail biter and we were all sweating after from cheering so much!
then Todd and Jennifer came over for dinner and Mother and Marv had cooked up a feast for us as always! it was just a great time. Lauren and Carol even made it over and Linnette and jason too. Good crowd!
thanks for making our place a stop on your busy trip!

Baseball - our other son!

This is our other son... the one that lives across the street and we dont have to buy his clothes! :) He plays baseball and we love to go watch his games (when the weather is good.) I also found out that photographing baseball is a lot more fun than trying to capture the indoor volleyball shots. Still working on that!
since both Taylor and Aaron are in the spring sport arena, we can quite often catch an hour of one of Aaron's games before heading in to the gym for a volleyball game!
i love these shots of his pitching! make 'em big and check out the facial expressions. Awesome.

the tongue in the next one is great.

The aftermath

Leah's eyes looked so bad the next day that I let her stay home... if you look at this picture big, you can see that the whites of her eyes were burnt. Linnette did a great job of sunscreening her, but wasn't intending that she would ski without her goggles!

Linnette was still itching to go ski and the sun was shining, so on Monday she took Leah, Andrea and jason and went! They had a great day from the looks of these pics!!!

Wish I was there!!!!
