Antelope Aquatic Center

We finally went and checked out the new aquatic center. it is great. You can bring in your own food, which is a huge plus. And the prices are good. $3 for anyone under 18 and $5 for adults. Becky, Linnette and I went with what kids were available... We had a great afternoon there, relaxing in the sun and visiting.

From the slide tower.

Taylor, thrilled to be the only one over the age of 12 there... (besides us ladies -- amazing he was not more thrilled to hang out with us!!!) Good way to spend the day when it is 105 + out. (Never did hear the actual high today.)

No More GOODBYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jared HATES saying goodbye to anyone in his family. Last week the boys left to scout camp and he was still asleep. He woke up just sobbing because they had left and it was even worse that he had not gotten to say goodbye. So he made Kiera PROMISE to wake him up before she left. He got up and had breakfast with her, but did not stop hugging her. He was so emotional. He is very attached to his family.

We all love this little man! His love for this family sometimes is a big part of our "glue."
This next week we are off on the road for almost a month, and we will say goodbye to Dad a couple times, and all the people we get to visit... he needs to work on these goodbyes a little. Whew.

David and Leah

On our walk... love these pictures of David and Leah. Great setting, great day. Love that they are such great little friends.

The intrigues of nature!

A new baby to love!!

Little Spencer has a big group of people who love him and are anxious and excited to be a part of his life. We are definitely part of that group! We love him already... more than we thought we could. He is going to be a strong and amazing little boy - as evidenced by the events of his arrival.

We had a fun afternoon with the Halls... we ate a yummy dinner, played games, went for a little walk, and most of all, HELD SPENCER!!! He is amazing.

Welcome Home Barbeque at Linnette's

When the boys got back from scout camp and we were having triple digit weather, we knew they would want to swim. Linnette planned a great meal and we had a fun BBQ at her house.
These kids had so much to talk about... I think that they sat right in this corner of the pool and just talked for over an hour. It was fun!

They did get out to eat for a few minutes.

Love this action shot!!!!!!!!!!

Scout Camp

The boys were off to scout camp all last week and they had a blast!!! When they got home it was so fun to listen to them all talking 100 miles an hour, finishing each others' sentences and just so excited and giddy about it all.
Taylor Bakow flew in for this week and they will all attest that was a great idea!!! I am so glad that he came. They had such a great time and definitely became closer to their cousin through it all.
It was a great week at camp.
The pics below (besides the 3 in my street before they left) are thanks to my good friend Becky who went to camp. I am still looking for a few more pics of Brad and Taylor B at camp and maybe Rod. Anyone???
