Long weekend...April Fools... No it really was a long weekend

Wow what a long weekend this was...I can't believe that it is only Tuesday... Haha I was originally going to post this yesterday but I ran out of time...

Thank You so much Auntie Pat, Uncle Ralph, Ralphie & Robbie.... We definitely appreciate the new desks and files....They are much needed to keep us organized over here.

I am so excited to have a real desk to work on. Right now I am using a old table... Not complaining but still happy to have something better and more functional... We did not get done until it was late then went out to grab grub and must have had the slowest waitress and cooks. We did not get out of there till 10:30... That sucked. They knew they screwed up because they comped us desert... Hurray, so all turned out well.

I am hoping to get everything set up tonight... Hint Hint Dave....

My Boy is Growing Up....

I got a lot accomplished today considering I have had abt. 2 hrs of sleep. Funny how your body works better with less sleep sometimes. I have felt so off track lately it was nice to actually get some things accomplished around the house.

Today I saw a second life article and thought this might be a fun activity to do with Sean since he loves video games so much. Second life is like similar to Sims but online. If you don't know what Sims is I can't help you. I already have an account I set up eons ago and never could use since my computer at the time was too old apparently to run the program. Ha...

Anyway I approach my boy and tell him about my amazing idea and he tells me that he can't join Second Life because he wants to have a girlfriend and girlfriends and Second Life don't mix.

Apparently only nerds with not life in the real world go on that according to him.... Gone are the days of just hanging with mom. Man I am starting to feel old and dated.

My little sis and best friend was kind enough to take some new pic of my little family. They turned out so beautiful. I have been wanting her to do it for a while but it took my mom going back to Chicago and wanting some new pics to show her friends to actually get it done... Thanks Mom!

As you can see I got some gorgous kids. I am so glad that all of you can see them the way I do. Thanks again Omi. They are getting so big so fast. My big Sean is already almost 6 ft and is officially a teenager at 13 1/2 and my little princess Mia is 4 this year and growning more beautiful each day.

As part of this process David and I have to come to the realization we are older and fatter. But this will not be for long. We have committed to work on it together so we might actually get somewhere. We would like to both mainly have more energy and get rid of our tummies..hehehe...keep you posted.

Ok, so after looking at my good friend Teresa's blog I have come to see much more potential in the site. What started out as something that one of Dave's friends showed him that we could use to share pics is growing oddly enough into a family history site it looks like.

I will do my best to try to keep everyone informed as to what is going on along with a few pics...

I have been blessed to be able to stay home with my baby while my wonderful husband goes out to slay dragons for me and support the family. Right now I am just working part time at Target in the wee morning... sucks but it provides insurance and a few buck to spend.

When I get home I get to rest and hang with my Mia and my nephew Rayce... Those two are characters. Once in a while I will actually fall asleep on the couch when they are off playing ( I know such a bad mommy - I am working on it)...anyway low and behold they always find something to get into. The other day it was water and today it was coco pebbles and "Fishies" (Goldfish crackers).

Of course it was all over the floor and my sassy little girl did not want to help pick it up. All of a sudden she was tired and wanted to take a nap on the couch. If I was not so annoyed at the time I think I would have laughed. That remind me of when me, Keli and Omi was small and we had to wash dishes. I remember Omi always having to go to the bathroom. Thank goodness my Rayce is a good helper and we got it all picked up.

Happy Easter

This year we celebrated Easter at my sister Omi's house...She held an easter egg hunt which the kids loved. It was fun watching them run around chasing the eggs. Sean got to help hide eggs this year.

The Mullins Now Have Large Land Plots....or at least one

Our family has finally got a garden this year...funny thing is that even though it is not at our house but at the community garden, our plot there is the biggest garden we have ever had yet. Up till now our gardens have been in tiny little corners of our yard. We are excited to see what we can grow. As you can see all the kids were excited too.

FYI - How Dave and I Met

Dave was born and raised in Chicago. I was born in Hawaii and raised primarily Utah. We met in Chicago at Illinois Tech. After taking a class together (Chemistry of all classes) and hanging out all the time, we decided that we needed each other.

After living in Chicago for 13 years, I finally convinced Dave to move over to the dark side. So we moved to Utah. Since arriving, we have made many new friends and have had enjoyed spending more time with our Utah family.If you haven't figured out by now, our family is everything to us. We are so excited to be able to share our experiences with everyone and look forward to many more memories together.

Happy 4th Birthday!!!

This past Leap Year we celebrated Mia's 4th Birthday. Mia is now into Pirates, Princesses & Barbies. So for her birthday we had a pirate party at the local pool.
