Spring Break....Aloha!!!

Aloha Everyone!!! This year David had to go train so the kids and I loaded up and went to visit Grandpa in Hawaii. Although we missed having daddy with us I think you can see the kids had a great time. It was so cold in Utah it was nice to get some heat. As always mahalo to our family and friends that lets us hang out with them. Sorry it has taken so long to post. At least school is not out yet...

Sean and Mia at the Airport. We were so happy to get some sunshine as it was 32 degrees when we left Utah.
Mia and Sean at the mall.

Aunty Emma came along with us. Here we are at McDonald's. I love that you can actually get local food at Micky D's Portagee sausage and rice please!

This is is Hilo where we got to go see the volcano and visit with uncle Ryan.

Can't go to Hawaii without Shave Ice.

Last but certainly not least. Mia and Sean getting one last beach time before we came home.

2011 Annual Color Festival

It is that time of the year again. Time for the Annual Holi Color Festival. This has become an annual Mullins tradition. This year we dragged Emma with us as well as Zack and Eden some family friends. As you see the progression of pics you can see the layers of color that were added as the day went on. We had a blast and hope more of our family and friends join us next year. Mia and mommy before the festival.
Everyone waiting for the bus to take us to the festival. Wow what white shirts you have.
Waiting for the shuttle to the temple.
Not even one minute of being there they boys were already hit.

A Zoolander Moment.

Built up quite an appitite at the festival. Good thing we were not the only folks covered in colors.
You know it was a long day if Sean fell asleep on the way home. Let me tell you it took a while to get the residue out of the truck....and tub but well worth it.

Catching up again.....

Once again I am playing catchup. A lot has happened over the last few months. Here are a few pic and updates of our family. Starting from the bottom. Ryan left for his mission, Mia had her 7th Birthday, David and I went to Vegas, and last but not least Emma came home from Japan. Enjoy, Ruthie
Emma arrived home from Japan.... We are all excited to have her home and back with us. It is so cool to here her speak in Japanese and share her experiences out there.
Vegas Baby!!! David and I went on our first official vacation with out our babies. Although it was hard to leave them home it was an amazing experience just hanging out together and wandering around Vegas. We got suckered into a timeshare presentation (yes- it was my fault) but we got a great dinner and show out of it. Thank You David for 16 Great Years. I plan on spending many more with you.

Mia Turned 7!!! Yee Haw.... My little cowgirl has a cowboy party. Good thing her dad is creative. The kids had a blast as they went to cowboy school and went chasing after a bad guy. It was fun to have everyone over and celebrate my baby's birthday. I can't believe another year has passed by.

This is our last family picture before Ryan left for his Mission. He is scheduled to go to Tokyo but with all the recent events we are waiting to see where they will send him. I will keep you posted.

Time Flys....

Wow time flys by so fast. I wish I was better at keeping up with this blog but I step away and boom another month passes by. So many things happened this fall. Lets just name a few:

My baby boy turned 16 and is working on his license. I can't believe my boy already so big. Pretty soon he will be an adult. I can't believe that he can already drive. Sean likes to practice every chance he gets. Utah law states that you have to have you permit 6 months before you get a license so watch out world Sean is coming.

We moved into a new home. It is an older home but we are settling in quite nicely. One of the best parts is that we can have parties and have family and friends over so start packing. We
expect to have some visitors.

Sean had a great football season. His team only lost one game to Alta which is one of the best teams in the state. I am happy we made it through without any additional injuries...knock on wood.

David had a great opportunity to work in North Carolina. Although he has not been around much as he has had to spend most of the last few months in North Carolina we have been able to come and visit him and he has been able to come home to visit... Thank goodness for my job at Delta.

Halloween was fun as always. Keli and Chris threw a smashing party as always. It was fun helping them get everything together. Thanks for letting me help!

As we go into Thanksgiving, I am so g
rateful for our friends and family that have h
elp us out over the last year....Mahalo!!! May the upcoming months get better and may we have more memories to share.

Here are some pictures of the last few months. Enjoy.

Happy 4th of July!!!

For the 4th of July we headed out to Chicago for a quick trip. It was Michelle and Jose's 25th Anniversary and they we came out to surprise Michelle who of course figured it out with all the texting going on. Any way we got to see our Chicago Crew and enjoyed fireworks out in Evanston by the lake.

A special thanks to the Donati family for letting us crash at their crib while we were there. We love ya all.
