Laughing, Loving, and Living

It seems like each day we are just getting the little things done, like bathing, cleaning, playing, and everything else that comes with having a family. However, it is those precious moments that really make us laugh and realize why we are hear and what we are living for. Sydnee today was playing with Chase. She was actually laying stuff all over him and Court and I thought he would hate it but he thought it was so funny and was giggling so loud. Of course Sydnee took hold of that and keep doing it. Chase was laughing so hard I thought he was going to laugh right off of Courtney's lap. These are the moments that we love as parents. They teach us so much. We are happy that both of our children are feeling well and beginning to get back to normal again.
Sydnee was able to go to the park today and thought that was great. She runs around this jungle gym circle thinking she is a horse in a fence. Her imagination cracks us up. Chase has rolled over on to has tummy off of his back. He is now figuring his hands out and want everything in sight. We have tried introducing some solid food and he loves it, however, his tummy doesn't agree with the food and he gets really fussy. He has always had a rough time so we may have to wait till he is a bit older. It is to bad cause he really digs food!!
Courtney started working in the sun again for the next three weeks till school starts in the fall. He is a trooper since the heat is horrible and he is not conditioned to it like he use to be. He can handle it and we love him for it.

Camping with the family!

Two children are hard to keep up with when it comes to attacking the great outdoors for three days. It was so much fun, but we can't lie it was a lot of work as well. Sydnee had so much fun with her cousins and getting dirty. We had to drag her off of the mountain. Chase was ready to come home. The heat got to him. It is hard to be a baby and hang with the rest of the clan. He was a good sport! However, the whole camping trip left both of our kids with colds.
We camped up in Grace with all of Courtney's brother and sisters. They had the horses and the creek and lots of good food. We had a blast laughing around the fire and watching the children go crazy. We cherish these moments together and are thankful to have these opportunities as a family.

Playing in the Sun!

Our time seems to be spent out side in the sun. Sydnee loves every minute she gets out side and she has now figured out how to open doors so it is so much harder keeping her in. I guess that is part of growing up. That is what Chase and her seem to be doing. Chase is starting to role up on one side but is to big to role over with his huge thighs and gut. Sydnee is in the do it my self stage. We try to be so patient but some time it drives her Mom and Dad crazy. We just have to remember it is part of the growing up thing! We are greatful they are both healthy and happy. They bring so much joy and lots of laughter in our lives. We stay busy and cherish each day.

Oh, Beautiful!! July fourth!!

We had such a relaxing day with family. We our so greatful for this free country and the many opportunities we have. Sydnee loved spending the day with Grandpa and Grandma Smith. Her and Grandpa Smith are great pals. Courtney bought a few fire works and Sydnee thought they were so cool. She sat right on Megan's back and laughed. Later that evening we had the chance to go to the Bannock Fair Grounds for the greatest show ever. It was pretty cool. We sat right on the Highland High School grounds and were right under the fire works. You could feel the boom when they went off.Fortunately Chase was so tired that he slept right through them. Sydnee sat right on my lap and thought the whole show was fun. Then about 10:35 she had enough and was begging to go home. She was so tired. We took her home and she went right to sleep. We left about 10 before the the fire works endedwhich was great since we didn't have to fight the crowd out. We hope everyone had a great fourth. We have so much to cherish in this free land.

So Many Blessings!

We have so many blessings to be thankful for. Our beautiful children and the gospel in our lives. We have been having a wonderful summer. Court is busy with school again, and I love spending the day teaching our children. They bring so much joy in our home. I wish I could tell every story possible but I will send pictures. Pictures can say many words themselves. I can just say Chase is happy and healthy.
He is now 18 lbs and growing. Sydnee is great help and loves to try every thing. She loves to tell us what to do and keeps us on our toes. She can always get Chase laughing. Just her sliding down the stairs get Chase giggling. We send our love and prayers to our dear niece Emma. She is ill and has a lot to fight for. We pray the Lord will bless her and her parents. Our faith and prayer go to Jared, Kerie, Emma, and Abby at this time.

Life in the little town of Grace, ID

We have been so fortunate to have great parents to let us spend six weeks with them while Courtney did his first set of internships. It was lots of work to pack up two children but it was great fun for all of us to spend some time out of Pocatello. We found that there was lots of things to keep us busy. Courtney stayed busy with working at the clinic in Soda Springs and Sydnee and I had fun at the park, library, and horses. She didn't want to come home! Her and Courtney had so much fun playing with their horses. Sydnee has no fear of them which scares her mom. She love to lead them, brush them, and tie them up. Courtney really liked being back to doing the things he really loves and taking his family along with him. Sydnee loved watching Grandpa shoe horse and playing with her cousins. We had so much fun and cherish those six weeks we had to spend with the Smith Grandparents.
