Fair Week 2014

Fair week is one of our favorite times of the year! It is the close of our summer and a week full of cousins, food, and sharing some talents. This year the kids had the chance to display some of their art they made this summer. Sydnee won Grand prize on her Idaho string art and took forth on her horse show. We were supper proud of her on her first time showing on Annie. Chase showed Kunckles in the pet show and won two ribbons. Chase also had a chance to ride a sheep. Cashlee loved the candy and won a ribbon for her pillow she made. She also did the goat ribbon chase. She sure was fast! Cashlee also rode Three Socks in Lead line. She is all smiles and show!! Maycee loved the animals and the food!

Chase and Sydnee joined in on the pig wrestling. The girls took 1st in their division. So proud of the swatters! The boys almost had their pigs in the barrel. So dang close but that little thing bailed out at the last, but good job to the Ninja "Turdles"!

We love our little cowboys. They are always practicing rounding up their cows and throwing some loops.

Sydnee Turns 8!

On May 26, 2014 Sydnee Smith was baptized and confirmed. My heart was so full of joy as I watched her take her first steps of making covenants with her Father in Heaven. As she prepared with scripture study I got to see her testimony grow. She is so full of light!

Our little girl is growing up....her excitement of this special day brought joy to our home. Her Dad shared in this sacred ordinance. How blessed we are to the priesthood in our home!

Sydnee could not have been more excited to share this day with her cousin Jaicee. They both celebrate May birthdays and were blessed to have there eighth one to remember together.

We love these girls! Tears come to my eyes as I see their testimony's grow. You are so loved!!

Our little Boy turns six!!

Chase is the one kid who keeps it alive in our family. He is such a big helper in our family. He is so passionate about fishing, hunting, guns, and being tough!!

We are so proud of you Chase!!

You keep everyone on their toes in our home.

You can officially carry your own gun and fishing gear

You don't overly love school, but you are good at it..Your teacher really loved you because you are so helpful and super kind!!

We feel in love with these birds. Chase and Sydnee where out side playing and found this baby owl outside under our big pine trees. This owl was so fascinating to watch and learn about. The talons are amazingly sharp and their head rotation was so fascinating to the kids.

This is Cheeka! She was a family friends pet that on occasion we got to pet sit. My kids loved her so much. They loved singing with her and perching her on their shoulders. She really loved Sydnee. Chase had to do some convincing for her to like him.

Seems like yesterday we were all getting dressed up to scare. Looks at these spooky kids and their Grandma. We have lots of fun on Halloween with class parties and lots of candy!!

Sydnee was a dead person, Chase a vampire, Cashlee was a butterfly, and Maycee was tiger. It was so cold we weren't out side to long!

Our sweet Cahslee just turned three. She is the light of the party at the Smith house hold. When she is not being shy she is full of smiles, mischief, and laughs. She is the second mother of the house. Always looking out for her baby sister and family. She is one to make sure everyone is OK....following instructions...if not we hear about it! She is caught carrying a baby, cell phone, and a purse everywhere she goes. It is know for her to have her bag and accessories Her favorite thing to do for hours on end is swinging. She could swing for days if her mom would push her that long. She is a dare devil as well. Always willing to push to new heights..

Cashlee loves to sing...her faortie is the alphabet and Could I hold the baby.

She loves to color with stencils.

Loves to chew gum.

Play with her cousins.

Push her stroller.

Take care of her baby dolls.

Play with Chase and Sydnee.

Loves preschool.

School Ends.....Summer 2013 Begins!

A great school year came to and end....and summer came fast! We were excited to start our summer with a new baby and lots of fun planned. It began with Sydnee making me a poster that hangs in my room. I fell in love with it as it reminds me of how important these children our and how blessed I am to be their mom! Then we began swimming lessons, cattle drive, baseball, watermelon, changing diapers, playing with cousins, friends, playing at the park, and a few naps in between. This is only the beginning!!

Sydnee is really growing up. She is amazing individual who has lots of love. She is always willing to give up anything to make her friends and family happy. She is great at helping around the house...specially when it comes to getting time to watch her favorite T.V. show. She is are T.V. gooroo when it comes to T.V. We love her bubbly personality and her ambition to try anything new.

She has been the best help with her sister Maycee. We are proud of you!

Big Sister!

Cashlee is a great big help with her little sister. She is so good to hold her, entertain her, get diapers, sing to her, and loves to cuddle. I will often find her laying next to Maycee on the floor kissing her hand. I cherish these moments. They go so fast!!

Cashlee loves bubbles. So we pulled out the soap and straw and it was hours of entertainment for her. We love your precious giggle. It is one that makes the whole house laugh. Good times!!

Early one morning I caught Cashlee out with her outfit of the day and her matching shoes...no..look close..a flip flop and Sydnee's church shoes...how cute is that. She had us all laughing!

We have so much fun with Cashlee. She is always on the go. She loves her babies and dress up.

Maycee Smith Arrives on Mother's Day!

Our precious baby girl arrived on Mother's Day May 12, 2013. She was a perfect gift for Mother's day. She weighed 7lbs 15 oz and was 20 1/2 in long. We are so excited to have her here. She was a long labor for me. I guess the fourth kid just doesn't fall out, but none the less, she is here and has her dad and others so in love with her!

She has been such a great baby. Aunt Megan came to say Hi the day she was born.

Grandpa celebrated his birthday with us all. We wont say you turned 62......but we had fun spending it with you!! Thank you for everyone that came it was a blast!

Sydnee chose to do her project on Snow Leopards. She is so creative. They got to tell everyone about what they learned and then they put on a music concert. It was really fun to see her shine. We are proud of you Sydnee and all your hard work!

Annual Easter Egg Hunt in our Home Town. Lots of fun!! The kids had a great time with cousins chasing after eggs and toys. I love watching their excitement!

Our little boy has grown up way to fast. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. Chase has accomplished many things this last year. His favorite things to do are to shoot guns, race cars, and the list goes on. I have to say he brings so much joy into our home. He is always full of laughter and smiles. He is our slowest dresser and hates to do thing by himself, until it comes to hunting!! He is always willing to help. He is the best helper in our house. He is his Dads little shadow. Chase we love you!!

After a afternoon pizza party with friends, that night Chase took his cousins and family to the Fun Jump. We had a blast!!

We can't miss out on the tooth action. We have been working on her to get her loose tooth out since the other one is already coming up behind it. So a dead line was given and she worked hard on it. With in a couple of hours she came in screaming she had done it. She had and was so proud. She finally lost a tooth. Most the kids in her class have lost a few. She even got a dollar from the tooth fairy! However, she informed us that the tooth fairy was going to bring a hundred. Something must have happened in the communication on that end. Dang tooth fairy!!

My little artist put this beautiful mini cake together. I have to say I am proud of her hard work on creating something so yummy. She was kind enough to share with us all. To bad it was a small bite!! So good!!

Chase has a really good friend that comes over...his cousin Bodee. They wear each other out hunting, playing cowboys, and wrestling. They are great buds!!

Cashlee is lucky to have her won friend...cousin Hadlie. They are busy together. In fact I just told her she was going to play at Hadlie's house. So for the last hour she has been walking around with her backpack and boots saying lets go. We are not leaving till in the morning. Boy, is she excited!!
