Cousin Christmas Gift Exchange

So the last couple of years we have drawn names and decided to switch gifts with Clint's family. It has been so fun and most of all the kids love picking out presents for that certain Cousin. So Dax got Raini this Cinderella costume, who do you think it looks better on?

Bode got a Text and Learn little hand help computer game, he loves it!!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow....

So the kiddos really wanted to get out in the snow so I put on Snow Clothes and let them loose! They had a blast!

This is what big brothers are for!

Can we say Christmas Story?

Raini is 2!!!

I can't believe how fast time goes by, Miss Raini is TWO!!! I love her she is such a fun little one to have around the house. She definately is a spit fire, but she is also always full of love for me. She is my little buddy and would go any where with me. Which is kind of a switch because Bode always wants to be with his Clint so it is fun that to have a buddy.Grandma and Grandpa Knudsen came up to celebrate our little family birthday with us. Raini got a doll and a carseat, she could careless about any other gifts. She loves that baby doll, she takes it everywhere, it even sleeps with her.

Loves the frosting!!!

After the Pedersen Cousin gift exchange we sang to Raini. Dax is always a perfect little helper!

In memory Toby Candilora

Clint's cousin, Toby, was diagnosed with ALS about a year and a half ago. It has been a crazy and unexpected road for Toby and his family. Toby was a wonderful, positive, and enthusiastic person who touched many lives. He had such a good attitude while fighting with ALS. On October 7, 2009 he passed away and on October 24, 2009 Clint's whole family went up to Washington to Toby's funeral. It was an amazing funeral, the police department organized everything. Even a motorcade which stopped traffic on three major highways. It is unbelievable the support and honor police give to their own. It was so neat to see how many peoples lives he touched for the better. It is crazy to think he is gone, but he has left such a huge impression on our family. He will forever be remembered as he has brought our family closer together.

THE BEARD

Every year around Conference Clint wants to grow a beard and every year I beg him not to, I'm not really into facial hair. So this time he really did it! It was quite controversial but it doesn't look too bad. I think he is just pretty proud that he can grow one. What is it with men and facial hair, it is supposed to be tuff or something?

Ketchup

Ketchup, Raini loves it. Sometimes when she has a hot dog or something that normally has ketchup I put it on her plate, and the next time I look over she is dipping rolls, pinapple, carrots, pretty much everything in it! Gross, but She loves it!!

Semi-annual St. George Adventure

We love this vacation!! It is so fun to go with my fam and the kids love it!! So this is what we did. We played tennis...
We went shopping, these girls, Liddy and Raini are so cute. It's so fun to have a cousin!

We went swimming. This is by far Bode's favorite thing to do, he loves playing with his dad in the pool. (Check out that beard)

We chilled with the family. Chris's cute family bright and early, you gotta love kids they will never let you sleep in...

We rode in everyone elses car. All the kids crammed in Brittani's car, they all wanted to ride together, thanks for taking them Britt.

We played in Target...This is Bode after having his first skateboarding accident in Target and getting a bloody nose. Needless, to say when I found Clint in the Store he looked a little stress holding Raini with one arm and holding Bode in the other trying not to get blood everywhere while making his way to the bathroom.

We made a craft, met Jared and Stacey's new dog, and ate at the Egg and I!
It was a really fun trip! Thanks mom and dad for planning it.

The great thing about staying home...

So this thursday, we headed up to the cabin for a couple days with some friends and our moms. Karri and her kiddies and me and my kiddies, met our moms and the cabin. We had great food, went on scavenger hunts, played lots of games, and watched movies... That is one of the reasons I love staying home, we can do what ever we want when ever we want!

Bode took this picture, on Grandma
Gotta love Tramp Hair

Duck, Duck, GOOSE

This is Bode's favorite game! I play it probably 10 times a day. He gets everyone to play it, Grandmas and Grandpas, friends, and even stuffed animals. The best is when we play with Grandma and Grandpa Pedersen and it always results with Clint and his Dad tackling each other. Once a kids always a kid.

Fun Fridays

So, I have just realized that we dont' have much more time to enjoy the beautiful outdoors! So I called my friend Karri and she planned some fun activities for us to do. Two weeks ago we went to Pineview to swim. We tried to go to a lake a little further up, however, it was way low I think they are draining it for the winter or something, so we ended up at Pineview. Which was beautiful, relaxing and as Karri would say, theraputic! No one was on the entire beach! It was a blast.
Raini likes the sand more than the water

Riding horses

Making sand holes

Our next activity was last Friday we went on a hike and gathered all different color leaves, flowers and sticks for some fall home decor (I will post some pictures later). We had fun even though it's a little hard to hike with kids. We ended at the Dinosaur Park for lunch. It was great! Pictures are to come!

Fat Cats

Deoderant

So I found the kids with Clint's deoderant, they I think they were using it as an all over body lotion. They didn't think much of it they just said they needed some! They are funny!

Happy FIVE Years!!!

No way that it has been five years!!! I feel like yesterday we were walking through fireworks at our wedding...What in the world happens to time...Two kids, 4 house moves, and a minivan later here we are...So for our anniversary it was my year to plan so this is what we did. We first went to the Bountiful Temple, were we got married, then off to lunch and shopping for the day. I saved some money so we could for once just buy something for ourselves. So we went to the Gateway and after walking around for a couple of hours, if you know me I was too cheap to buy anything. So we went back to Bountiful so I could go to ROSS. I know I'm pretty pathetic but hey it works. Then up to the diner in Oakely and to stay at the cabin. Since it was my year to plan we played games, which I don't think Clint would of normally liked, but he was up for anything. Thanks for having a good attitude honey. They we woke up bright and early to hike Mt. Timpanogas. However, when we got to the canyon there was a three hour wait. So we went to a movie instead. We hung out all day, it was so nice to just talk to my hubby. I feel like there are always so many interuptions that I never really have a good conversation with him, but it was great. I love our anniversary getaways... Love you honey!
Feels like yesterday!

At the Cabin happy five years!
