Girls Ski Day

The girls and I went skiing up at Mission Ridge last week.  It was Cassidy's first time skiing and she loved it!  She loved going on the chair lift and wanted to go faster and faster down the mountain.  She wore a harness and skied in front of me between my skis.  By the end of the day she was able to ski down the bunny hill on her own a little ways.  Cami did great on her new skis.  She was very independent which was really nice since Cassidy required a lot of help.  She even rode the lift up by herself and has gotten very good at her turns.  Can't wait to go again!

Grandkids pictures attempt

We attempted to take a picture of all the grand kids with my parents while we were there for Christmas.  The kids all looked very cute however a few were less than cooperative, especially a certain 3 year old who has recently decided she doesn't like to be in group pictures unless I am in them with her.  This was the best I got. 

San Diego Trip

We pulled the kids out of school a few days early for Christmas break and went to San Diego.

We went to the Zoo, Sea World, The Safari Park, Midway and the BYU football bowl game!

We happened to be at the Zoo the same day the BYU players were there.

Chris and the boys were die hards and sat in the front row for the Shamu Show.  Cami got brave and joined them with her poncho before the show started also. They all got pretty wet, even with ponchos.

We loved San Diego and were so happy to get away from all our cold weather and snow and enjoy some sun shine for a few days!

Christmas 2012 part 2

Grandma Torrance had all kinds of fun activities planned for Christmas Eve.  We enjoyed a yummy brunch, went on a photo scavenger hunt, had a "Vegas snowball fight," played minute to win it, decorated gingerbread cookies, and played games.

Our Little Sunbeam

Cassidy graduated from nursery and became a Sunbeam at church this month.  I was very nervous about how she would do.  She loves her nursery leaders and goes to class well however ever since they sang Happy Birthday to her in November she now hides under the table during music time. One of her friends moms is her new teacher so that helped her transition.  She is doing great and even participates in singing time, as long as they don't call on her or draw attention to her.
