First Day of School!!!

"Wake up, Dad!! It's the first day of school!! Come on Dad!! First day of school!! First day of school!!" What movie? None of my children did this but they were all very excited. Todd had no dry clothes. I got the shorts and underwear dry and we borrowed the shirt from our house guests aka Michael and Erin. Rachel did not want to wear the shoes that she has on but I was head out the door with the other two kids and decided she would put up with it for the day. Claire was excited to go and didn't complain one bit. Katie and I had a marvelous time waiting for Todd to come home. Only to find out that the bus would not allow him to ride home because his paperwork hadn't cleared transportation and the bus driver wouldn't know where to drop him off. I couldn't even pick him up because I was watching my niece who was sleeping and I didn't have a car seat for. Thank goodness for wonderful neighbor who could go and pick him up. We went and picked the girls up from school and everyone was exited. They had a marvelous first day of school and we hope it will continue.

It's Official I am thirty!!

My one and only birthday picture with my birthday cake that I took. HEHEHEEE!!! It was a great day. I spent most of the day in my pajamas. Then I took a shower, got dressed, did my hair and my make up. We went to eat at Alamo Cafe with the whole Rushforth family (Grandpa, Grandma, Michael and Erin and their kids, and us), where our waitress and a few of her friends announced to the entire restaurant the I was turning 22 that day. Yippee. Then I came home and I had one of my really good friends deliver me a homemade birthday cake. I am so blessed.

Our Trip Home.

Our first night on the road we stayed in the middle of nowhere in Kansas at a nice AmericInn.
Todd started right here in at the beginning of the night. You can see where he ended up at the end of the night.

The last two nights we had the lucky privilege of staying with some of our friends from Wichita. Craig was this particular young man's Varsity coach leader. Great food, Great company and wonderful hospitality.

Back to Logan to finish it off....

Stories

My dad is a farmer and has a herd of cows. Well he was nice one day and took all four the kids out on the three wheeler. What happens when you let Paka take the grandkids out to change water in the pasture?
Poop Flies!!!

Another part of the vacation.

Katie and I got dressed up in farming gear one night and went out bailing with my dad.
She loved wearing that hat.
Rachel got mad at Claire because Claire wouldn't let her go to sleep
so she went and slept on the coach.
Todd didn't like it either but the chair wasn't big enough
so he had to move the bench so he had a footrest.

Summer Vacation

Katie & Todd in my parents' backyard.
Our first week in Idaho, I end up taking two children to the doctors. Todd got a nasty sunburn enough that he got a blister. The doctors gave him a coin to get something out of their toy vending machine. He came out with a mustache. Doesn't he look so cute?
Rachel at my cousins for the 4th of July.
Katie was also there. We spent Sunday afternoon til Tuesday morning
with my brother and his awesome wife.

Graduation from Kindergarten and 2nd Grade

This is Ms. Carrell, Rachel, and Jezabella.
Claire's graduation was in the school cafeteria. This was her whole class and her teacher.
Yes, I know we are way behind but I thought you would enjoy these pictures all the same.
