A Very Tired Little Boy!!

Last Sunday, I was nursing Katie and reading book and Todd comes in. He climbs up on to the bed and jumping all over us. I told him to get down because I didn't want to be jumped on. He started crying and I had gotten him down and he climbed back up and laid down on my legs and he cried himself to sleep. Isn't he so cute? Did I mention that I love my bed, too?

High School Musical and a Limo Ride!!!

I don't know how many of you have always dreamed of riding in a limo, but I have since I first saw them. I have always wanted to ride in a limo. Thank you to an awesome friend of a friend who gave my friend a night in a limo for free. First the idea was just to go to High School Musical on Ice. Then came the second go to High School Musical on Ice in a Limo.

The rains came down and....

I was sent home early today because of road conditions. Here are pictures of around our house. There are places with several feet of water. Here are just a few pictures you can use to get an idea of the water level. We have had 8.5 inches since last night.

The reeds are the normal water line. Those things sticking up are the utility boxes.

Once again the reeds are normal water line. the red line at the right is where the neighbors back patio starts.

Bagley Reunion

For those who don't know, the Bagley reunion was a while a go. They have it every year on the last weekend in July and we always go to Uncle Paul's cabin up by the Sand Creek Ponds in the middle of no where. We can play horseshoes, card games, canoe, eat and reminisce.

Rules are to go canoeing, you have to wear a life jacket.

Grandma Bagley, who is turning 80 this year, giving Keplar, my nephew, a ride on the rope swing that has been there for as long as I can remember and I hope will remain. There are so many memories with that swing.

Another favorite thing to do is lay on blankets and nap!! But the best part is the ice cream at the Frost Top on the way home. Everyone knows my addiction to ice cream. This is awesome soft serve ice cream. Is this an addiction you can pass on to your kids?

Speaking of Fowl...

If you can't tell, we had geese come and visit us last Sunday.We had geese crossing the road on the way to church. We ended up being a couple minutes late for church.
Then tonight at dinner time we had a flock of birds having a party in our backyard.

So from these pictures, it is a birdwatchers dream to live in Wichita. I have seen crane and ducks and roosters.

Everyone seems to be curious about our lake in the backyard. All kinds of fowl have visited the lake so far. Thank goodness the kids haven't been tempted to get in yet.
That is the back of the house. The door leads into my kitchen. The top window on the left is Todd and Katie's room. The one on the right is Craig and my room. The bottom left is Rachel and Claire's room and the other is the family room. Nice and cozy!!

Old Pics and New ideas!!

I have been wanting to post these pics and I finally got around to it. The fun you can have in a hotel and be as loud as you want without disturbing anybody. Plus new ideas for those who have a treadmill and don't know what to do with it. Rachel, Claire, and Todd played on this thing for like 20 minutes. It was great. (Note to all the safety nuts out there: It was on the lowest setting and no one got hurt.)
This is outside Craig's work. We were waiting for Craig to come out and look at an apartment. So these pictures are way old, but really cute and I wanted to share.
