Happy Birthday MaCade

 We surprised MaCade at school and took him out to lunch for his birthday. He, of course chose Culver's. After school we went and played at Trifalga and took home some pizza and watched a movie. Crazy that he is 9 now! He loves to be with friends, video games, basketball, and helping people. He is a great kid! Since his dad was gone fishing, we waited until Sunday to have his cake. He wanted a army tank birthday cake.  Not sure I pulled that one off like some of the others I have done but it was still fun to make! 

Primary Program

Today was our primary program. It was a beginning and an ending of an era in our family. It was Brynlee's last one before she moves on to Young Women's and Ashlee's first one being in primary. They sang great! They sang "The Miracle" this year which is now my favorite song. I loved having Ashlee burst out in song throughout the week as they were practicing it. It made me miss being in primary watching them all up there on stage!

Happy Birthday Chad

 Chad turned 39 this year! His last year in his thirties! For his birthday he wanted to go fishing so we made him a cake and went out to eat as a family on his actual birthday and the he went on a fishing trip with his buddies! Fishing is his happy place for sure! He said he has a great time and saw some pretty scenery and wildlife. I am not sure which love comes first: Aggie football or fishing, but hopefully somewhere in that mix I can stand a fighting chance too! Happy Birthday!

Family Night

We went up the canyon for family night tonight and had a little single ward reunion. It was fun to see people we haven't seen in a while!

Taxi Cab

We  are entering the busy season. With all kids doing a sport we are on the go a lot!

Rockets

Brynlee shot rockets off today with the 6th Grade, her rocket sort of went up and then arched sideways. It was still fun to do though.

 Chad was able to get tickets last minute to the Utah/USU game. During half time they brought out a huge flag. It was pretty awesome! Crazy to think that Sept 11 was 14 years ago!
