Christmas Break

After Christmas we went to my parents for a couple of days. While we were there, we visited my grandparents, took a trip to nine mile canyon where my aunt has a ranch, went ice skating, and went and swam in the Crater in Midway. It was a cuople of jammed pack days, so fun though!

Christmas

Christmas Morning was so fun! The kids were so fun to watch with all of the excitement in their eyes. I love this time of year. We have been so blessed this year and have so much to be grateful for.

Christmas Eve

One of our traditions is to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Of course, it is always new PJ's.

Utah State Bowl Game!

Utah State finally got to go to a bowl game! You better believe that we went up for it!(Well... okay, Chad went to it, the rest of us went to see family.) Here is a few snapshots of the gang tailgating.

Chad had this idea that he wanted to try to get on ESPN so we stayed up until midnight making this sign to increase his chances. Well, it WORKED! Chad and his brother Forest were on the pre-game show while we were all tailgating.

December activities

We did Christmas toes!

I forgot to take pictures while we were actually decorating the Christmas tree, so we took a couple pictures after.

...The annual gingerbread house decorating.

...Brynlee and MaCade's Christmas Programs.

...The Lights on Temple Square

On the way back to the car, Chad gave the boys a ride down the ramp in the parking garage. Probably not the smartest idea, but then he made me take a picture while they did it a second time.
Boys will be Boys!

Dam Award

Franson Civil Engineers won an award for the best water resource project in the state for the dam that Chad was over in Escalante. This is the banquet that we attended. (all I took was my phone so the pictures are not that great.)

This gingerbread house was in the hotel where we had the banquet. It is made of real gingerbread and candies. The details were Amazing!

5 months

Ashlee is now five months old. It is amazing to watch what they can do in such a short amount of time.  She is starting to grab at things and hold small toys. She loves to hear her own voice. She is starting to splash ALOT in the bathtub and is eating cereal. She is giggling(mostly when her siblings act crazy in front of her). I love to squish on her rolls.  I am so glad that she is part our family. We love you Ashlee

Thanksgiving

We went to Chad's parents for thanksgiving this year. It was super fun and a well needed break. Chad's sisters and I were all pregnant at this year and had our babies within months of each other. (Left)Liam was born in Sept., Ashlee was born in July, and Joshua was born in May.

During the photo shoot, Ashlee kept trying to pull Joshua's clothes off and it was funny to watch him keep looking back at her with the expression of: What are you trying to do to me, girl?

Liam was blessed while all of us were together and here is a few snapshots of the group

Most of the grandkids were there, we were still missing a few.

I love a big family!

Before and After

So Brynlee has been growing her hair since... forever. She decided that she wanted to cut her hair and donate it to make a wig for cancer patients. She had a teacher in Escalante that had cancer and she wanted to give it to her. We decided to give it to Locks of Love and send her teacher a note to let her know. P.S. If you see this before you see Brynlee, act surprised because she is so excited to surprise everyone she knows.

Happy Halloween

We had kind of a crazy day between halloween parades, parties, and trick-or treating. Lot of fun though!
