BP for Couples Softball

So we are in a couples softball team thing this spring and it starts in May. Since I have never in my life touched a bat let alone swing at a ball, I thought that I would have a little practice beforehand. So I told Brian we are going to go to the batting cages when he got off and he was excited because baseball is totally his thing. I stressed my self out the whole way up, thinking that if I didn't hit the ball it might hit me in the head and I was afraid of getting hurt. HAha so I was expecting to get a little instruction about how to swing from Brian since he has coached for the high school....Brian knowing I have an athletic background just told me how to hold the bat and put the token in.... ahhhhh! So I pretty much screamed each time the ball came it was awesome! I didn't do too bad my first at bat, only missed a couple of the balls due to trying to figure out how high they would be coming at me. Since I have no prior training, I as the dancer that I am flicked my foot every time I hit, don't ask me why that's just what happened, thus the awkward picture of me hitting, but notice I hit the ball, bad form and all! Now all I have to do is figure out how to hit the ball harder and learn to sprint! I think the helmets were the best part of the night, way hot! The picture below is for sure a pic of my husband not to be mistaken as a ten year old kid....

How much for that doggie in the Window

So my puppy is getting so big I would think she is about to her fullgrown dog size. Rookie has such a cute personality! When we make the bed she has to be able to see what we are doing and loves sitting in the window. I thought she is just so cute so I had to take a picture of it and post it for all to see. The best part about her being in the window is that I know where she is and that she's not getting into anything!

The Project

So Brian and I have had our TV set up on an end table since we were married (In our first apartment an end table was the only thing that would fit in the space to hold the TV). Now that we are renting a house we had a little more room to work with and I have been looking for a sofa table of some sort to refinish for our TV stand. We finally found one for a screaming deal and the only problem it was pine so a really light yellow color. We went to see it when we were about an hour away visiting family and we were in Brian's two door car. We put it in the back but half of it was sticking out of the end and all the way home I was so worried it would fall out on the freeway. We finally got it home safe. We went and got some primer and top coat and the project began. I was planning on doing this project in my spare time. The next night Brian was in the garage sanding and priming and doing it all. He was such a sweetheart to take it on and it couldn't have turned out better!
