Lovin' the Bumbo

Greatest pants ever!

Newest teething toy that usually just gets to watch James chew on his hands!

Bumbo= a cute little chair for babies to sit in. He loves it!

Guess who else loves it? I swear i could do such a long post on how many baby things Violette the
4 1/2 year old can fit into.

Swimming with the Bumbo

Sacramento Zoo

We took our annual trip to the Sacramento Zoo. I say annual because it is either so hot or just too long of a day that we can only muster up the courage to take the kids once a year. They don't mind I'm sure. We'd rather fill up the rest of the year with camping and lots of beach trips.

James slept most the time but was so sweaty from being in his car seat...poor little guy

It was such a hot day that we ended a very long day with a short swim session at Nonna's house to cool off.

End of t-ball

Michael's t-ball season finally came to an end. Here he is playing first base. He is so proud of his medal that he earned.

We are still in love with this little guy

I was afraid that after awhile the kids would get bored or tired of having James around, but they still can't get enough of this little guy. They are always wanting to help and hold him.
Morning time with Violette
 Church time with Michael
My boys are so handsome!!
James has been experiencing the outdoors a lot more lately now that the weather is warm.
I'm really trying hard to exercise, can you tell? I just can't wait until James starts sitting up enough to ride in the jogger.

Almost a laugh

I am waiting patiently for this little boy to laugh, he's almost there...

We're in full swing...

It's up and working! Yes, my kids are in their pjs, they just needed one more swing before bedtime. Isn't it sad it's 7:30 and it's so bright outside. I can't wait until Michael doesn't have school and they can stay up later, well at least till the sun goes down.

Nitrous Gas=One Brave Boy

Michael had to get some dental work done for awhile now but we had been putting it off because he was so afraid of, well, everything.
But we found a great pediatric dentist and with the help of some nitrous gas they were able to get the work done. He layed so still while they worked and now he has "a shiny tooth" as Violette likes to call it.
He had a mini root canal and got a silver cap put on.

Good job Michael, you were so brave!

Try, try again...

We wanted to put up a rope swing so Tony started to try...
First he tried to climb the tree, he didn't get too far.
Next, he tied it to a big stick and started throwing it. It was actually quite comical how many tries it took him to get it even close to the branch, but no success.

Then he moved to the trampoline to get a little higher, still nothing.

Finally after about 30 minutes and well over 30 tosses, SUCCESS!!

Test run

No swing is attached yet as it took all evening to get to this point but I'm sure another evening will be spent finishing off the swing. James was an excellent audience.

San Fransisco

We got to go to San Fransisco and see my brother in laws screening of his Masters Thesis film. We took the kids to see some sights.

Uncle Scott right before the screening

His visa from when he was a missionary in Thailand.

Still playing ball and having fun!

3,2,1...blast off!

Tony and Michael have been working on making a rocket to launch, supposedly 1000+ feet. Nobody believed them until yesterday....

3 months old

James is such a fun little baby. He is smiling and laughing more every day. He is currently mastering the art of the raspberry(spitting with his tongue out).

For all husbands...

A man came home from work and found his 3 children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn around garden, The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and no sign of the dog, walking in the door, he found ...an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, the throw rug was against one wall, In the front room the T...V was on loudly with the cartoon channel, the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pyjamas, reading a novel... She looked up at him, smiled and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?...
''Yes," was his incredulous reply..
She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.'
