Troy is a whole year old! Oh man, what a year it has been. Full of ups and downs, and so many changes. I feel so lucky, everyday to have been blessed with this little boy. He is just the best thing ever. (Even if he still wakes up between 5am and 6am everyday!)
I am not a big party person, especially for a one year old, so I kept things simple for my little man. When I saw a $20 castle tent at Ikea it gave me an idea though. We'd celebrate our little Prince Charming, because he seriously is such a charmer.
So I bought some streamers and crowns, and my mom and I, well mostly my mom, made Troy a Dragon cake. We celebrated with a birthday swim, with Nana Carol, Papa Jeff, Auntie Sarah and cousin Luca then had some pizza, presents and cake!
It was a fun day. I can say I learned so much in Troy's first year of life. I changed a lot, hopefully for the better, although there are days where I think Adam might differ with you. Adam certainly has changed a lot. I've never seen him so in love. Troy is just his pride and joy and it is the cutest thing ever!
