Sneak Peek

So our kitchen is MOSTLY done.  Really all that's left to do is paint, but it is just not going to get done before Christmas.  I didn't want to photograph everything, but I just can't help myself and share how beautiful our new kitchen is!

Before

After
It is glorious.  We paid someone to cut and install the granite, but Adam did all the backsplash and faucet installation.  We love it.  It really feels like a designer kitchen (if only we could afford those stainless steel appliances;)

More to come!  But this certainly was an excellent Christmas present this year.

Rejoice!

I have a lot of things to be rejoicing about this Christmas Season!  Family will all be here soon, and I couldn't be more excited.

But... this post is another attempt to encourage my friends and family who are doing last minute Christmas shopping to stop and think twice about what you will give this season to your loved ones.  And I say, how about a wheelchair?  Truly, this is a priceless gift.  Giving a wheelchair in honor of your loved one might just be the perfect gift.  Free Wheelchair Mission has beautiful Christmas cards you can give to share this gift.  Not inspired yet, watch this...

And, if you do this,  you can help me in my fundraising efforts!  Adam and I have an 18 mile run to do this weekend, and I am going to need the motivation, that for every mile I run, someone will be put in a wheelchair.  Tis the season for giving and rejoicing!  Click here to donate, it doesn't have to be a full wheelchair, any amount will help lift a life!
