Something horrible happened to me after basketball on Monday night and I felt impressed to share it with you all. I feel like I need to make everyone aware so that this never happens to any of you. I always wear a headband when I exercise so as to keep my crazy baby hairs from flying about. When I got home from basketball, I went to the bathroom and that's when it happened: my headband fell in the toilet. It all happened so fast. I can't explain how it happened, so don't ask any questions. The headband was saturated in toilet water. I was distraught. There was weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth. It was over. The headband was gone. And so was my heart.
THIS JUST IN..... so I'm writing this a few hours after I wrote the original post because I have just heard some interesting news. My mom just read my blog and said: "so that's what happened to my headband?" Well, I neglected to mention that I took that headband from her bathroom several months ago and have been wearing it ever since. Yesterday she saw the headband in the trash can in the bathroom (cuz of course I didn't flush it - my brother is a plumber and would have given me a lecture if I had flushed a headband), and thought it fell in there accidentally. So what did she do you ask?? She PICKED IT OUT of the TRASH with her BARE HANDS and put it in the laundry to wash it! Oh mother, you had no idea where that headband had been!

You know... I never cease to be amazed at what you choose to share. You never disappoint. So funny... I mean sad.
So was your headband saturated in just toilet water or was there another liquid in the toilet as well??? If it was just toilet water I could handle that and in fact did that yesterday, but if you wear your pee covered headband tonight to basketball then Tara and Tara only is guarding you!
Wow! That gave me the chills. Not the good chills, the bad ones. If you have a headband on tonight at basketball I'm out of there. I will not be touching or breathing in your foamites!!! Oh no!!!
I'm surprised you didn't just wear the headband with pee on it, you usually put your hands on most things in the bathroom if I remember correctly!!!
Well, at least she washed it! I was so afraid you were going to say that she picked it up and put in on! ha ha. That is so funny!
Bring the headband Monday to basketball and lets put it on Tara's head...I would come for that!!
