It is common knowledge that Disneyland has the best churros in the world. Yes they are overpriced, but they smell so amazing and are warm and at least two feet long. I spent this last week in Disneyland, and I don't even want to say how much money I spent on churros alone.
One particular night as we were walking to a ride in California Adventure, we happened to pass one of several hundred enticing churro carts. My brother TJ and I were drawn to the cinnamon and sugar scent and knew in that moment that we just simply HAD to have another churro. TJ got in line and I was wandering in and out of the line with him (I am embarrased to say because I was wavering on whether or not I actually did want ANOTHER churro). Well finally TJ ordered a couple, and I slid in and tossed a debit card to the churro lady and said I wanted one too. Unfortunately, the churro lady had some difficulty processing the transaction due to register tape malfunction, so my order took some time. Needless to say, the impatient woman behind me threw a fit only toddlers can relate to. She shoved her way into my personal space and demanded that the churro lady take her $7 in cash and give her two churros because they were actually first, and I cut in line, and I decided last minute that I wanted a churro so I "shoved my way into line." Then she proceeded to tell me that I didn't really mind if she went ahead of me because I wasn't in a hurry like she was. Oh really lady?! I don't recall ever telling you my plans for the evening!
I stared at this sad and lonely creature in disbelief. How could something as beautiful as buying a Disneyland churro turn into something so ugly? But as I have mentioned before, I am the non-confrontational type, so I let that heinous beast go ahead of me, and hoped that she choked on her churro. I wished her a happy &^%$#@ holiday as she walked away.
I sound evil, but really I was just a little mad at this lady. I ate my churro with a sense of peace and contentment and enjoyed every crispy bite of it, even though she managed to ruin 2 whole minutes of my magical Disney night.
