Our Lives Lately...

This month has just FLOWN by!!
I can NOT believe it is almost December!
Here is a few random happenings of our lives lately....

Not too long ago we went exploring...
Ben found some delicious pastries at the farmers market,
I found a ridiculously luxurious shopping mall,
and Bry Bry found a turtle to feed,
all in downtown Boston

As happy as can be :)
We love Papa and Gram-gram Hessings' cabin!

It was no surprise that we found ourselves taking B-man for lots of
"gy-co" rides (Bry's word for ATV's and motorcycles :)

Together on Thanksgiving!!

So in love with this handsome man!
I am soo very grateful for him- all he does for me and Bry!
He is the sweetest daddy and the most supportive and loving hubs :)
Love you Benj!!!

All bundled up for another ride!
Bry loves being with his daddy :)

Our little Halle is almost 3 lbs!
Growing, growing, growing...
Our little man all dressed up in his Sunday best!

Visiting our family in Idaho has been wonderful!
I am so grateful for such a wonderful in-law family!
Miss my Ben (who had to head back early for classes), but excited to be with him again :)
Looking forward to snow, getting our Christmas tree, decorating our apartment all "christmassy," making lots and lots of holiday treats and snuggling with my boys and watching Christmas classics :)
I love this time of year!!

Some thoughts from Wednesday morning...

Some thoughts from Wednesday morning...

I woke up this morning with high hopes for some change.
In dissapointment I found there would be none.
I looked out at the crashing waves, stormy winds, grey clouds and immediatly felt sad.
Worry.
Concern.
I thought of my precious, innocent little baby soon to come and the world I am bringing her into.
I looked over at my sweet, little boy cuddled up on the couch and thought "What could I do to overcome this concern, what can I do to be strong for my children during these trying times??"
It was then I realized change could happen,
every day is a fresh start and a new opportunity to become who we want to be.
No matter what happens, we as Americans can still be strong, can still walk tall and have full, grateful hearts for this free land we so graciously get to live.
God is still our God.
Freedom and liberties still remain bounteous.
And no matter what political views we may have, we can still unite and be one in gratitude, kindness and love.

I am so incredibly grateful for this country,
for those who serve,
fight for our rights, our freedoms.
I am humbled when I think of those less fortunate who don't have these same freedoms, who don't have the opportunity to partake in all that America has to offer.
I love America.

With going forward as a mom, there is so much I will never conquer,
be able to understand,or be capable of doing.
I will make mistakes, be indecisive and fall short.
But there is an assurance that no matter the circumstance I will always have my heart, determination, and fight within me to stand up for righteousness.

A great hope of mine is that my children will know that I
1.love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ with all my heart.
2. love eternally their sweet father.
 3. love them unconditionally, forever, no matter what.
4. love their grandparents, Aunts & Uncles, cousins.
5. love this beautiful country which we live.
and am incredibly grateful for all my many blessings, comforts & numerous sweet memories.

No matter what happens,
Ben and I will strive to teach our children
kindness, charity, love, loyalty, gratitude, faith, hope, determination and honesty.
We will do our best to raise in righteousness, love and patiently teach them all that is good :)

"We may not have it all together, but together we have it all"

Life is sweet.
Life is precious.
