Hiking

Stacie and I hiked Camelback yesterday morning. It was quite the hike!! Much harder then the hike up to the Y and I was sweating bullets by the time we were done. The weather wasn't too bad but we did go in the morning which makes a big difference. And here is Stacie with our awesome parking spot. We totally lucked out!!

Isn't it pretty!

Hydration is important!

The view from the top

Next Saturday we are going to hike some other one near Apache Junction so that should be fun.

I am getting more use to being home. The first week was hard but I am adjusting. I am still kind of hoping the job opens up in Orem but in the meantime, I need to remain positive about being home. And it is nice to be with the family more.

Goodbye Party

Brittney and Amy threw me a going away party at Kiwanas Park last Wednesday and we had a lot of fun. Jake barbecued for us and everyone provided good food and I am so grateful for such good friends. I will miss them all!!

I will sure miss all these people if I don't end up moving back if that job falls through!! I have only been back in Mesa for 3 days and I already miss them all a lot but it is good to be home too.

St. George

We went to St. George for the weekend and it was amazing. Here is a picture of our awesome hotel that Kelli got an incredible price for. Nice work Kel!! It was definitely the nicest hotel we have stayed in amongst all of our trips.

This is where we ate breakfast the first day. It was okay. Not the best but we were hungry so it didn't really matter at the moment.

Our bed/ room. It was so nice and so fun.

Kelli and her lounger

I have always wanted a water bottle with a clip for my pants....

We were patiently waiting Stacie's arrival

Our hike

Stacie held onto the map for us...
Wildlife on the hike

Notice the antlers coming from my head....

Cowboys and Indian Store

Texas Roadhouse for dinner our last night.

It was an awesome trip and we should make it an annual thing even when we all get married and have kids. We love to travel so hopefully a cruise next. And the weather was awesome!! Not too hot at all. It was perfect and nice to get away and have to worry about anything. Thanks girls for an excellent weekend.

Marry the Nerd

Did you know

Michael Jordan having "retired," with $40 million in endorsements, makes $178,100 a day, working or not.

If he sleeps 7 hours a night, he makes $52,000 every night while visions of sugarplums dance in his head.

If he goes to see a movie, it'll cost him $7.00, but he'll make $18,550 while he's there.

If he decides to have a 5-minute egg, he'll make $618 while boiling it.

He makes $7,415/hour more than minimum wage.

If he wanted to save up for a new Acura NSX ($90,000) it would take him a whole 12 hours.

If someone were to hand him his salary and endorsement money, they would have to do it at the rate of $200 every second.

He'll probably pay around $200 for a nice round of golf, but will be reimbursed $33,390 for that round.

He'll make about $19.60 while watching the 100-meter dash in the Olympics, and about $15,600 during the Boston Marathon.

This year, he'll make more than twice as much as all U.S. past presidents for all of their terms combined.

Amazing isn't it?

However...

If Jordan saves 100% of his income for the next 500 years, he'll still have less than Bill Gates has at this very moment.

Game over. Nerd wins.

San Diego

This has taken me way to long to post these pictures but we went to San Diego last weekend for my graduation trip and it was so fun!! All we did was eat, lay out, go to the beach, rest, go to a movie and Sea World. Well worth all the studying and school:)

Our yummy yummy pizza

We all got a little fried...

That is a polar bear in case you were wondering...

And a whale...forgot what type and what it's real name is but this was pretty cool. You just wonder what it is they do all day but swim around and around and around and around....

And then we went to Historic San Diego Saturday night and ate at this excellent Mexican restaurant and lucky for us...it was Cinco De Mayo
And of course the temple Sunday. Isn't it so gorgeous!! It overall was an awesome trip. Now to St. George this weekend!
