Graduation Pictures

1.
So my Mom wanted me to do pictures for my graduation announcements. My friend Blake did them for me yesterday and it was so awkward posing for the pictures. You feel so weird especially because we did some on center street and people were driving by. Anyways I'm having a hard time deciding So can you help me decide? Just leave a comment on which one would work fine and which one is a DEFINITE NOT.
Thanks!!

OH and Lena did my hair and makeup. I am horrible with that kind of stuff. To this day, I still don't wear eyeshadow because I am too afraid I will make it look all weird.

Happy Birthday Katrina

The angle of this picture is a little strange but anyways...I figured it was time I send out a birthday shout out to my favorite cousin: Katrina Parker. (Her married name is Parker even though I am related to her on my Dad's side. She married a Parker but no relation to our family. Kind of funny.) I always forget to call her on her birthday and then I don't remember until the next day or week and I even had it written in my planner and I still forgot to call. No excuses I know. But happy 26th Katrina!! Thanks for being so great. I have spent many a summers in California with this girly and even some of my very favorite memories of all time have been with her. She is such a strong person and such a good wife and mom. Love ya tons!! And in the words of Katrina, "When are we going to party? Party it up, party it up!" PS. Katrina: Keith does the best impersonation of you. It's awesome.

Happy Birthday!!

Graduation only brings....

More responsibility and pressure!! Well this is what I have decided for myself at least. If I were to quote myself 6 months ago it would be: "I am NOT moving back home to Mesa. It will be my last choice." Well...I am moving back to Mesa after I graduate. I know, I know. I have to eat my words. I am the last person who would have thought I would utter those words but I think I want to go home for a little bit. I got the second interview for the Del Sol internship but had to turn it down cause it just didn't feel right and I need to find a job for the summer and then with a school district in the Fall. I still will be applying out in Washington DC and the Arlington School District for fun. My friend Michelle is doing the George Washington grad program and we would really like to live together so we will see if I get any hits. But moving home for a little bit will be fun too. I am tired of missing out on everything and with my sister having another baby, it will be good to be there and see Kaden and Jack more and actually be there for the birth of the new one. I always just have to see pictures. Lame-o! I have never been to any of Dallin's baseball games or swim meets and it is his Senior year. And hang out with Danny and go grocery shopping with my Mom and hang out with her. And of course...live with Stacie!!

Will I miss Provo?....some things.

Will I miss my friends....of course! But most of them are really from Mesa anyways except for Code but she is coming in June to visit.

Will I miss the springs and summers here? Well that is a no brainier. It will be like 116 degrees at home. OH shoot! What have I done??

Oh well... I bought a new swimsuit last week!!

Warming Up

So when I use to life guard and teach lessons during the summer, we would always keep the freezer in the guard office stocked with otter pops. We even had a rotating schedule and it really did keep most of us alive some days. I could go through like 10 in one day and as a staff we would go through boxes and boxes. Well since it is usually 112 degrees on an average summer day in Mesa, I associate otter pops with HOT, DEATHLY, WANTING TO DIE weather.

So for lunch I decided to go to the Cougar Eat in the Wilk and as I was walking there I noticed that BYUSA (bless their little hearts) were handing out otter pops and I couldn't help but kind of laugh. It is 61 degrees outside right now and that is an all time high right now for us. So I guess to celebrate the warm weather, they are handing out otter pops. There you have it folks. Warm weather for us is 61 degrees and therefore otter pops are a much needed "cool off" snack. I didn't eat one. I refuse to eat an otter pop in 60 degree weather.

I was actually thinking I should have brought my jacket on my walk to the Wilk. Guess I still have Arizona blood running through me.

LOST

I think it
is fair to say
that I have a small crush
on this man:

Yep I am pretty sure
I underestimated
the power of season DVD addiction.

Too bad it's cutting into my sleep time.

Oh Reality Television!

Ok first of all, who watched The Bachelor Monday night? By the time it was done, I was emotionally exhausted. Me, Amy, Mckell and Lena were glued to the TV and I was shocked, to put it lightly, when he dumped Melissa and then asked Molly to take him back. I was at first pretty ticked but you just have to believe that he really was trying to do the right thing and not lead her on. But he kept saying how things were so different after the show ended with Melissa and duh! You were living in a dream world. Anyone can fall in love in New Zealand. I guess we will wait and see how long they last. But the good news is, Jillian is the next Bachelorette!! Yay!! I loved Jillian.

And Dallin got his Eagle last week. Here are a few pictures of the family. But my mom told me she was kind of sad at his Court of Honor because she has done scouting with my 3 brothers for so long and now she is done and is kind of sad. I can still remember when Danny was the first and he was like 10 and he use to drive my Mom crazy becuase he was so hyper and loud and would interupt all the pack meetings. Which would surprise you now with how mellow he is.
Kaden and Dallin

Danny and Dallin.

Jackson turned 1 last week!

I can't wait to see them for my graduation!
