New Layout...
Thought I would try a layout with my own picture. Yay! It worked! Does it take a really long time to load, though? Let me know, would ya? I've saved the picture at a low resolution, but I can change it if it takes too long. Anyway, Happy Spring!

The Baby Animal Fair
James and the girls and I went to the Baby Animal Fair in Logan on Friday. We had never been and were hoping that Friday would be less busy than Saturday. If it was, I would have hated to see Saturday! There were SO many people! We waited in more lines Friday than I have in a long time! It was fun though.

At one of the booths they had larvae that you could eat. It was the Anthropology Museum on campus that did it. Rachel was the first to try them. We got everyone to eat one but Mikayla. They weren't too bad. Tasted like a cross between popcorn and pork rinds.

The girls were most excited about holding the baby animals, bunnies in particular! We had to wait in a long line, but it was worth it. They were adorable. Megan and Rachel's were so fluffy!

The girls were also looking forward to riding the ponies. That line was FOREVER long! We must have waited 45 minutes for a 2 minute ride. But it was worth it to see the girls happy. Kaylie's pony was named Cotton (and its mate was Candy!) Rachel's was Chip and Megan's was Sport. They had a good time...
James snapped this picture of Rachel. I thought it was beautiful! One of the prettiest pictures of Rachel that we have. I love her eyes and her freckles!
Anyway, we had a really good day. Long, though. We were all so tired by the time we got home! But a good tired, I suppose.

General Conference
What a wonderful conference! It never ceases to amaze me how inspired our leaders are. The messages are timely and there are many that seemed particularly directed at me and the things I need in my life right now. I makes me anxious to get prepared...physically and spiritually! I wish I remembered things better...maybe I should take notes, huh? But the feelings of the conference have been encouraging and uplifting and comforting. So what were your favorite parts? Maybe if you tell me your favorites I'll remember more!
