Nannee and Aunt Josephine came to town this past weekend for a quick visit. We shopped, ate, and shopped some more. They were only here for about 26 hours, but we made the most out of it. AR loves to shop more than I do...doesn't surprise me one bit. This girl loves clothes, shoes, and accessories!

Striking a pose a Stix. She is scared of the fire from the hibachi grill so the shades did not come off. Drama queen!

Just a little afternoon shopping with Nannee and Aunt Josephine

Yes...these two dressed a like. Not on purpose but neither one of them would change! I think they liked torturing me. It was a slightly embarrassing! :-)

Can you tell AR didn't get the Italian complexion???

January Photos

AR waiting on the "big snow" We never got the snow. Just a yucky thin layer of ice.
(insert sad face here...I want a BIG snow) I keep forgetting we live in the deep south!

Even though we didn't get snow, the ice kept us out of school for 2 days! Miss Priss still wanted to go outside and play. We walked to the store and got stuff to make cupcakes.

Cabin fever had set in...she found some lipstick and had a great time! :-)

Just a random Saturday that turned into a wild west day!

Playing dress up with her friend Mary Molloy

Frozen yogurt treat...it was 40 degrees outside. She could eat ice cream 24/7 if you would let her.

Christmas in MS with The Smiths

After AR played for with Santa stuff for a while, we loaded up the car and headed to MS for Christmas with my side of the family. We LOVE Birmingham and plan to be there forever, but there is just something about going home to MS. It is relaxing, comforting, and time seems to slow down. Of course, you may think I am partial since it is my side of the family...but Jim seems to feel this way almost as much as I do. He sometimes wants to stay even longer than I do! Bottom line though...we very blessed with wonderful family in AL and MS. I am just thankful that AR has the best of both places.

Pulling into the driveway a Nannee and Grandaddy's house. Don't my Dr. I took the brace off for the trip. I HATE that thing very much!

Princess tent from Nannee.

Rock concert with her cousins Wade and Perry.

Uncle Lance is NEVER in the pictures, but here is proof he was there. :-)

My Dad bought Aunt Shelia and I matching Ole Miss sunglasses. He picked them out all by himself.
 So sweet!
