Baby James is moving!!

I am so exciting over the past few weeks I have thought that I have felt the baby moving, but not quite sure if it was him or not! But starting sunday I knew that it was him! He is getting so strong and is now making me jump when I feel him kick because I dont expect it :) Andy got to feel him kick yesterday and was so excited. Its the best feeling ever to feel the baby move!

So it has been a little while since we have posted and since I have been taking pictures from i was about 10 weeks prego i'll put them up :) The pregnancy has been going really well so far with a couple of bumps in the road, but our little miracle boy is doing great and growing strong :)!

I still can not believe that I am almost half way through the pregnancy it is unreal! I think we forget to take pictures at 16 and 17 weeks. We are so excited for our little man to be here! We have officially picked out a name for a baby boy it will be James Grant Peterson! We are so excited his first name is after andy and also some of his great grandfathers who also had the name james. and Grant is after my wonderful father inlaw! This is my father inlaws middle name. we had decided to name our first two sons after both of the men who have made such great impacts in our lives and that is both of our fathers :) They are both such heros to andy and I and are there for us whenever we need them!

Baby Update!

So we have had some crazy ups and downs with this pregnancy already. We have been super blessed. We have also been lucky enough to have many ultrasounds so we have been able to watch out baby develope as the weeks and months have gone by. The first few ultrasound looked like nothing more than a bean or grape but as the weeks went by it slowly turned into a Blob painting that a doctor would show to a patient and ask, "what does this look like?" My answer at 8 weeks is "a Fish!"

By 14 weeks however it is a different story! That is All baby!! The little ball by its mouth is it's hand. We asked if they could tell what it was but the baby had their legs crossed the whole time. At least we know our baby is modest! It was so awesome to watch it move. It looked like it was doing an arm workout/stretch. Hand were opening and closing and moving up and down. Amazing to watch. Our little miracle!

Wow!

Well we haven't blogged in a long time because we really haven't had to much to blog about. But we just got the best news ever!

Thats right, Nikki is Pregnant! We are so excited. On sunday morning nikki handing me a gift bag and asked me to open it. When i open it i found two baby outfits. One was a boy and the other a girl and they both said, "i love daddy!" I looked up at her and asked her what they were for. When I did I saw her holding the pregnancy test with tears in her eyes. she softly said, "i think i'm pregnant." she quickly ran out and got more test and they all came out positive. We went and talk to the nurse of the OB/GYN doctor. She sets up the blood test and tells us that we would be due on March 5th. (two days before out 3 year anniversary). The blood test confermed again that she was indead pregnant.

This also gives us something to blog about. We can keep everyone updated on everything as it goes by. So far we have learned she IS pregnant and have set up an appointment for August 1st for our first ultrasound! Then again in October to find out the sex of the baby. Only I am going to find it out. Then I am going to figure out a fun way to tell nikki if it is a boy or a girl. This will be a fun adventure. Real life is about to get more real!

New Years!!

Well its been a while and so much has happened. We will still post about chirstmas but we need to find those pictures. In the mean time here is a little bit about what we did for new years and a little about what we are up to now.

Well I will begin With New Years. Nikki and I really had no plans, and with nikki having to work on both new years eve and new years day we really just wanted her to get some rest. However, we received a fun invite to go cosmic Bowling with Nikki's friends Candy and her family. It was a fun time full of Pizza, Soda, Flashing Lights, Free Hats and Horns, and of course Bowling. Dispite not getting home till about 2am nikki still got up for work as faithful as ever at 5:15am and was at work by 6am. Amazing if you ask me.

School has started once again. This has really Thrown our schedules for a loop. Nikki is Taking two classes, helping watching her sisters kids a couple times a week, and still working Full time at Totally Kids, and I am taking five classes trying to get through school faster as well as working part time at Hogi Yogi.

We have gotten really active in our ward at church and have seen many miracles because of it. I spoke in church a couple of weeks ago and both sides of the family that were able to make it came. It was Awesome! Nikki's sister Carissa has started to come to church with us. Hayden (Her oldest) Loves primary and tells us, "Everytime you guys go to church you have to bring me!" Logan (her middle) has had a fun time is Nursery and mainly spends his time hugging the cute little girls. Baby Brooklynn stays with her mom as she goes to ALL of the classes. It is so much fun to have them there with us and can't wait for them to keep coming!

We are staying busy, that is for sure. We are so greatful that we can come on the blogs and see how everyone is doing. We sure Love all of you and hope all is going well with you. We promise to blog again soon and give the update of christmas and what ever else is new in our lives.
