Easter this year was a busy, busy day. We celebrated on Saturday April 23rd. The morning of the 23rd my parents, Heather and Jayden came and got me and the kids. It was funny because I glanced outside to see some weird car in my driveway and people walking around outside. I thought someone was stealing stuff out of my garage so I ran to the door and then saw my dad, it was my parents new van! It is really nice. We all rode together down to Springville for my cousins babies funeral. It was so sad. My heart just tore in two when we saw my cousins husband get out of the car with the babies casket.
After the funeral we went to eat at my uncle's house. The kids didnt really like any of the food that they had and it was nap time and they were restless. We left and headed up to Roy. I decided to ride all the way to Roy with my parents because the kids were asleep and I didnt want to wake them up. Then after work Derek drove up to my parents house. When Derek got there we decided to have an easter egg hunt outside. Whenever London would find an egg she would throw it as hard and far as she could, and of course it would bust open and money would go flying (the eggs were filled with change). She did this with every egg she found. Jayden was nervous of getting the eggs that were by things, he liked them in the open areas (this could be because right before he came over he bonked his eye really bad). Teagan loved picking up the eggs, shaking them and then putting them in the basket. It was so fun to watch all the kids have such a fun time. After the easter egg hunt we went and got Burger Bar for dinner. Mom didnt have time to cook becuase of the funeral. We all love Burger Bar so no complaints!! After we ate we did Easter Bingo and that was so much fun but the kids were still a little young for it. After Bingo we made these fun foam magnets of a bunny, chick and easter egg basket. London loved gluing everything on with Derek. He let her be crative and put things where ever she wanted to. After the crafts we went on a treasure hunt that my mom put together. It was a blast!! I think the adults had just as much fun as the kids. London walked around carrying her basket and pickin gup her prizes. She would yell "Prize"! It was adorable. She had the cutest look on her face.
We had a wonderful easter with my family.
Sunday we went to church and then let the kids have a nap. As soon as the kids woke up we showed them what the Easter Bunny brought. They loved it! They played with everything. All night London would take her basket and take out all of the stuff out and then put it back in. It kept her entertaining.

Playing is so much fun
Blocks-huge hit at our house
London decided to watch DuckTales from the box that we got at Costco.
AMAZING!! Eyes glued to the television watching DuckTales while eating an entire apple!
Playing with Sadies toys at Nana's house
Isnt she an angel!!!! BEAUTIFUL!
More fun at Grandmas
Grandma and London went on a walk for an hour becuase it was so nice outside. London did not want to stop walking because she was having the time of her life.
Tegan loves Grandpa Taylor and wanted to always be on his lap.
My kids find the weirdest places to play.....
Bath time at Grandma Taylors
We stayed at Grandmas for a week while Derek was in California on a business trip. While we were there we decided to let all the kids take a bath together. The kids LOVE bath time. Here is London, Teagan and Jayden having a blast in the tub.
BEAR!!
We went to the Quilted Bear to find a nice present for my cousin who has had a tragic incident in her life and when we were there Derek said "Kristine come quick!" I run over and this is what I see...
Princess anyone...
London is not a big princess fan at all. When we went to Nana Vickies house Sadie was playing dress up and gave London some of her old princess clothes. London refused to put them on so this is what Derek did....
Yes that is Teagan dressed as Ariel. He did not mind at all. He walked around in his little dress for about an hour.
Then he did this....
Played with all the princesses in the princess book. London only wants to play with the animals so Teagan gets stuck with the princesses. What a trooper!
Baby Nash
London was able to hold Baby Nash for the first time. She loved him, she is not used to babies because her baby (Teagan) is bigger than her. She was really good with Nash and very gentle.
Teagans 18 month checkup
Teagan went to the doctor for his 18 month checkup. He is growing good. He still has a huge head (90%), his weight is 23 pounds and he is short. I forgot the percentiles. He is still not talking so they are having him evaluated by early intervention to get some help on that aspect. Other than that he eats great (everything he can get his hands on). He is very social and happy.
Slide - Best toy ever
Here are some more pictures of the kids and the slide. They love this toy. It was the best purchase ever!!!
Teagan loves to climb up the wrong end of the slide.
Hanging out under the slide with no pants on.
Sliding on the slide that Grandma Taylor got.
Derek showing Teagan how to go on the slide for the first time.
London is so light she just flies down the slide.
Sunday fun April 17, 2011
Today in Sacrament meeting we had an intermission song and as soon as the song was done London yelled "Yeah!!" and started clapping. She wanted to sing a song the entire meeting and she kept getting mad when someone would get up to talk. She LOVES music!! Everyone was laughing when she did this. It was so cute!
