So if you dont know already Heather (my amazing sister) is an amazing afghan maker. Is that even how you spell it. Well anyhow, she has made me several for my house but since we changed Londons colors in her room the last one doesnt match anymore, so Heather surprised us with a BEAUTIFUL blanket for Londons room. London already loves it!

Saturday January 22nd 2011

Today was a super fun filled day. Me and the kids went up to Roy to visit Grandma and Grandpa before Jaydens birthday party. The kids were so excited to play with grandma and grandpa. They did not take a nap because they wanted to play. Then everyone came over for Jaydens party. It was fun. Eric made a really cute Mickey Mouse cake that was really yummy but super messy. London was covered in black icing when she was finished. Jayden got a lot of fun gifts. After work Derek came up and the family got Burger Bar for dinner. Always a big hit if they would stop messing up the orders. Then we just sat and talked and played. It is SOOO much fun to be with family. I really miss my family. I dont see them near as much as I would like to.

Tonight after work i went home and hung out with the kids. Derek had to close. We all went downstairs so I could work out on the treadmill. The kids are so good to play with their toys while i workout. Of course I had to watch the Bachelor while i was working out. I am such a sucker for reality tv shows. After i worked out we had some yummy dinner, well London didnt eat of course. She just ate ranch and some bread. She is so funny, hopefully someday she will decide she likes food. Teagan on the other hand ate really good. He is acting so much better. The doctor called Derek and told him that if T keeps doing good then we are out of the woods. I am so glad that he is doing good. After dinner we watched American Idol and i London sat next to me and asked me to tickle her. She LOVES being tickled. Her little laugh is SO cute. Then just before Teagan needed to go to sleep him and London decided to crawl around the couch and laugh. They were laughing so hard. They love each other and have so much fun together.

London decided that her puppy needed to go to sleep, so she gave him some of her milk and wrapped him in Teagans blanket. It was Super cute!

Teagan has been sick for the past four weeks so we decided to take him to the doctor because he has not gotten better. At first he was throwing up and had diareah and then it turned into him being super tired and not wanting to do anything but be held. The doctor ordered a bunch of blood work so we went to Alta View and Derek took him back to get his blood drawn. I cant go because I cant stand listening to him cry. They had 3 people try 4 times to get a vein. They could not get it so they sent us up to Primary childrens hospital. Luckily the little spanish lady put a hot pack on his wrist and got it the first shot. She was soooo good. The blood work came back and it showed that everything looked fine. So.....the doctor is thinking it is a brain infection possibly caused by a stomach virus he had that started all of this. I think they call it Encephalitus or something like that. The doctor says that it will just go away on its own and to just keep monitoring him. It is a bit stressful but I think he will be fine. Here are some pictures of us at the doctors office:

Monday January 17th 2011

Tonight was a really fun family night. We ate a super yummy dinner and then relaxed and watched Bolt. London would not take her eyes off of the television. She loved every minute of it. Me and her snuggled on the floor together while she drank her pedialyte milk. I love spending time with the family. The kids are so much fun to watch.

Teagan found Derek's shoes and decided they were his new favorite toy.

London decided to sit on the car spinning toy. She had to get off of the toy so she did not break it. She loves to explore and try new things.

Teagans 15 month appointment

Teagan went to his 15 month appointment. He is 29.41 inches long (6 percentile); 20 lbs and 2 ounces (3 percentile); and his head is in the 92 percentile. Yes our little boy is short, skinny, and has a big head. I love my little man. I think his weight is good but the doctor thinks he is a little small. He weighs the same as London. They are worried that he might have hydrocephaless (dont ask if that is how you spell it) but it is where there is preassure on the brain. We have been watching this since his head got big when he was a few months old. I think he will be fine. He is a great eater and will eat almost anything you put in front of him. He loves his drinks. He will scream until he gets his drink. He is such a great well mannered little boy. He slides along things but doesnt want to walk yet. He will when he is good and ready.

Tuesday Jan 4th 2011

Tonight we ventured out to Costco. The kids like it because they can sit by each other in the cart. It was a fun trip but it always seem you cant leave there until you spend at least $100.00 AHHH. Oh well we will have salmon to last a full month!

Monday Jan 3rd 2011

Tonight we had a blast!! We went shopping as a family to Walmart and Hobby Lobby. Daddy got cute santa that was 80% off, London got flavorored marshmellows, mommy got food to cook, and Teagan got to hold and throw boxes, that is all he wanted to do. When we got home from shopping we got the kids ready for bed and they played. It was so cute becuase London would crawl after Teagan and he would laugh out loud. Then we had Teagan walk in between me and Derek and made a big deal everytime he took a step. The kids loved that. We lauged, threw them in the air and screamed. They love when we get excited. I cant wait till Teagan is walking. Derek thinks he will plow London over becuase he will be big and she is so small.

2011

So it is now 2011!! I am excited to see what this year holds for our little family. I hope it is uneventful.  :)  We had a great 2010. We were able to get married and join our families together. We went on some great vacations. Our babies are growing up and getting big (sorta). Derek got a new awesome job. I am so excited to see the good that comes out of 2011. I am sure that there will be many bumps in the road because what is life without obstacles. Life is what you make of it, and we are going to make the best of it!!
