but life in Arizona is awesome too. really, its like 80 degrees and almost Christmas. But I still miss New York.

Happy birthday to the best oldest sister ever. (last Saturday)
She loves us and takes care of us and I'm so glad so is one of my big sisters. She is the best and i love her very much.
Above: She went to every place in Gilbert that offers free food on your birthday. It was hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!

We celebrated her super awesome birthday by seeing Tangled with our family during the day and then all the friends went to KONA that night. We had a blast and I totally won the game on how old our waiter is. I rock.

I'm glad Aaron, Aud and I got to watch her in New York. By watching I mean run all over the city trying to find her during her marathon. We thought we missed her at mile 17. Aud and I stopped in the middle of Manhattan and started bawling. That's how much we love our older sister. We were in the most awesome place in the country and bawling cuz we thought we missed our Tate.


And we totally found her! Mile 24 baby!
I'm so proud of her and love her to pieces. Let's hope this year is as good as last! (minus giving a brother away to Brazil, okay???)

New York! We had a blast! Freaking freezing, but we survived.
Side Note: I (yes ME) lost our camera when we went to the state fair with Amy, Davey, Matty and Kristin. So, you get google pics and phone pics for this post. Sorry. I bet I'm more mad than you.

Jules came all the way from Oregon to hang out with the Askins girls for their girls weekend. We celebrated her birthday by going to our favorite KONA and had a great time!!!

Cute Rhea's birthday! We celebrated by going to Gecko! Our favorite place! Glad she was born cuz she is my favorite mother in law! I'm so lucky!

Lovers at Beauty and the Beast! Aaron got me tickets for my birthday and it was so good! It's my favorite Disney movie and I was so excited to see it!

It was so good! And Aaron was a good sport cuz the play was pretty girly. Don't worry, right after he regained his masculinity and met up with school people to go to a bunch of haunted houses.


Seriously, isn't it the best time to be living in ARIZONA!!!! I'm loving it!

September happenings-----hoohah!

So... as i was writing this post i realized that all of these pictures have aaron and i in them. I realized maybe it's time we get a life.
and friends.
i'll work on that.

In the beginning of september we celebrated aaron's cousin Brad and his cute wife lexi's wedding! It was so neat to have a lot of family come in to town and spend time with them! we love them all!!!!!!!!!!

aaron got free d backs tickets at this clinic he volunteers for at school. (if you know aaron, what is he NOT volunteering for... eh) we thought we should try to be like normal people during the week and do fun things.

then we realized we were still not like normal people and aaron had a ton of studying and reading and everything else to do... so....
he tried to do it at the game. ha.

celebrated oreo's b-day. my mom made her favorite casserole. which is gross but whatever. and....

SEPTEMBER!

hey all! all 3 of you that look at my blog: mom, aud and kate.
here is what we have been up to. our cute, non fun, crazy weird, nutty lives!


the end of july we drove up north to meet up with curtis, jessie, joe, tony and michele. we had a great time. the weather was perfect and tony even made jess and i veggie burgers. now that is love.

...above: they were trying to dig a fire pit with tools that were equivalent to dinner forks. it gave me a laugh.

we headed to somewhere near fossil springs, i'm not even sure where, but for a little cliff jumping. here is curtis and aaron about to take the plunge.

the sisters took me out to the goo goo dolls concert for my birthday! it was a blast i forget how many good songs they sing. we had an interesting drive to the concert, the concert was awesome with great eye candy (for my sisters) and after was delicious cheesecake.
