He's home, he's home, he's finally home!

Well, after 2 years (I'm saying this like Pam from Saturday's Warrior, holding up two fingers and all) my baby brother Nay is home!

The morning of March 29 could not come soon enough! Every one loaded in the car(s) and headed to the airport with signs, smiles and beatles shirts and all!
Kate and her boot shoe, of course.

 The sibs.

The girla's with their nannie. We love her, and she was SOOOOO excited to get her baby boy home!

Then he came home and he smelled soooooo foreign!
His hair was buzzed, his face bigger than when he left and his body smaller.
But he is still the cutest little goober out there.
 Love this little boy ---man....

 Nay and his Nannie

My mom and dad were elated. They were sooooo giddy!

So, true to Nay form, he got started right in on talking and telling us everything
He wanted to head to Chili's for lunch.
1. The last place we went as a family
2. His request like a year and a half ago
And he eats his fries with a fork now?!?!?

We headed home so he could share with us all of his goodies from Brazil

His buddies came over and it was awesome to see them reunite
 Madera Ward boys

Nay and Lando. Friends since they were ....3 I think?

After his friends left we decided to shock him with all of our funny You Tube finds.
Verdict: not funny to Nay.
So we are still waiting to show him everything so he can be in on family jokes.. AND think they are as funny as we all do...

Aud collects shot glasses, and I think this might be her favorite one.
(and this is my favorite picture of those two!)

Nannie collects roosters. And I think this might be her favorite one too!

We got ready and headed to the Stake President (President Laney) for Nay to be released but:
Not before a quick game of scramble between these two.
They need an intervention.STAT.

 Sista's!

The releasing was great, tears and all! (but really, you know the Askins clan, what did you expect??)

So, we blarred the radio and headed to.... QT!
Fountain soda's were in order for this boy and a real cherry pepsi for Aud (cuz this is a special occasion, naturally)

That evening we had friends over to welcome the little boy home, but:
Not before a quick game of scramble between these two.
Seriously, my family is addicted.

It was awesome seeing so many family friends stop by and feel the love everyone has for Nay!
Nay and his best friend Jake. (Who is the best kid ever)

Nay and his best friend Jordan Taylor (who just left today on his mission to Chile and serving with David Archeletta.... boom!)

Friday evening we spent together as a family and went to Pei Wei. Why?
Nay wanted to. And Nay is back in Gilbert AZ, so why not!
I have missed this face! (literally)

We headed back home and had a little birthday party:
 We have missed 2 birthdays!!

Honestly, taking a siblings picture is near impossible. We take two.
The first Aud always makes a face
The second Aaron always makes a face.
I chose the lesser of the two evils.
(that being this one was cuter of Aud...)

Sunday was general conference, which was perfect to spend as a day as family!
We went over for Big Boy Breakfast and watched conference.

During the sessions we called our cousin Cale and him and Nay spoke Portuguese together.
Adorbs.

 Just woke up sibs

After conference we watched Harry Potter.
He needed to catch up on the last two!!

That next Monday he came into my office so I could clean his teeth and help his gums not look like hamburger meat.... after....
lunch at Pei Wei with our mommy!
 Nay loves Pei Wei.

Tuesday was our day to hang out, go shopping, spend money, eat out and take a nap
It was the best just like old times with windows rolled down and Rocketsummer turned up!
And Nay can mimic Sethie Wilcock playing the drums PERFECTLY.....
I died laughing every time!!!

He has gotten back to helping my dad mow the lawn.
But in a more respectable atire.
Cowboy hat
Scrub top
Converse.

Sunday was Easter and Nay's homecoming talk. It was such a perfect day for his homecoming and to be surrounded by close family and friends!

 All of Nay's best friends.
And he would tell you that. Every single one of them=best friends.

 Silly boys.

Shelly came over with her kids and Nay and Cavan headed up to play some guitar
Or slappin' da base as Aaron would say...

Oh he is so lovable! Cavan and Nay!

 Tatum and Cavan and Nay.

 Family photo!
We love our family!

 Kissing cousins

Aim and Corb were over the whole day and it was so great to spend time with them and instantly Asher fell in love with Nay, I mean, how could he not!

 Cuteness!

We went to the Easter pageant and had a blast!

It's so good to have my best friend, baby brother and sweetest person I know home!

His sisters are pretty proud to call him their brother!
(mom and dad are too!)

Welcome home Elder Nay!!! Love you to pieces. Love: Bainy.

stuff we've been doin'

This is so many pictures.
So I will be fast. Thorough, but fast.
#1. I got new sunglasses. Target you do me so right.

In March we went to see Wicked!! It was awesome. This is me and Ryan. He is just like a little brother.

The gang. Wicked was awesome. It makes all the difference when you sit up close.
We're broadway show snobs. And we are totally ok with it.

Aud finally came around and joined the 21st century:

She got herself an iphone and she loves it. Not regretted it ONE BIT.

Then... annually of course...
We celebrated Jon Bon Jovi's birthday, the Biebs, and Dr. Seuss b-day at cakes by April. YUMMY!

Aaron and I were lucky enough to watch little Asher (my Godson) while Aim and Corb went out to dinner for their anniversary.
Oh he is just so cute and lovable!

We took him to the temple and he loved looking at Jesus and by loved I mean he was terrified! He is so curious and it is so fun!

Our good friend Mindy Udall got married to Shaun. It was such a fun wedding she was such a beautiful bride... that I didn't get any pictures of!!!
Amy, Al and Aud

Aud with baby Cece. Doesn't Aud look like a natural. And I love how Cece is holding her hand!

I love those thighs!!

she loves her hands!!!

The sisters journeyed to Toby Keith's Bar for a Clay Walker concert. We loved it, because he is adorable and we met the nuttiest people. Like we always do. And I wore wedges and my feet were killing me.

goofy-ness.

See look, our new friends!

We were so close! He is adorable and has the best hits!

Sunday nights:
pounce as usual. This night, Katie kept getting high cards and we found it amusing, so naturally I take a picture.

And then, BEST of all:
My favorite little boy came in to town:
my baby nephew Sam!
Look at those cheeks and that double chin that I just kissed all the time while he was here!

He sure does love Papa. It was adorable, they were rolling the ball and he was mimicking everything Papa was doing!!

Aaron found his buddy. Sam was in heaven.

He loved Aaron drumming! It helps that Aaron really knows how to play!

And then there is uncle Tanner. Giving the baby baby-safe toys.

Big boy

Give me those cheeks now! (baby, not Aaron, well maybe Aaron....)

Trying to wake up uncle Aaron

Give him kisses to wake him up...

Naps together.

Soooo much love!

The Friday night baby Sam was here Rhea and Sam took us all to Peter Piper. After:
Baby cuddled to uncle and it was the most adorable thing I have ever seen!

He finally drifted off. We LOVE when Sam visits and we wish he was here more!!

We went to a show to see Parlor Mob. Aaron and Curtis band that they just love.

Curtis was in heaven!

I made a lot of stops by the Riter's to see that lovable babe Cece!

She looks like her daddy so much it's crazy!

Met up with Aaron downtown and stole him from school to grab a quick bite to eat-
We love Mia's

March was Tanner's birthday. And in memory of his Irish heritage (???) he wanted corn beef and cabbage for dinner. God bless Rhea's heart. What a kind mother.
Sorry Tan, not my favorite birthday meal you have chosen!

Birthday boy!

Alejandra Dahl, my super awesome cousin, went hiking with me up Camelback.
She taught me how to parallel park! So easy! (if only I could remember now how to do it...)

We made it! With the doggie Abby and all!

It was perfect weather for hiking! We went to Zupa's after- so yes. it was a success.

KJ threw a water balloon fight. So, no I didn't get pictures of that, but yes, I did get pictures of the boys wrestling.

Seriously, they are all on top of Ian!?!?!

Thank goodness Tyler was there to get the coke can and Aaron's glasses!

Worn out? Yep!

We managed to get a couple date nights in---

And we saw Hunger Games. It. Was. Magical!

Went to Casa Grand for dinner with friends

Which of course led to an Eegee's stop!

Aud and I attended cousin Heather's baby shower.

I went to the dental school to have my friend Sara, who is in hygiene school, clean my teeth.
And she is totally professional...

At work, I cleaned a coworker's teeth
And it was hilarious, floss got stuck in Kim's teeth and that has never happened to me before! Good thing it was an employee or I would be mortified!

Another stop to see Cece Rose...

Look at her. Ugh I just love her!

Over all, it has been a very busy month!
But best of all, if you guys know the rest of this pic.....
You will know how happy I am that my baby brother got home from his mission. He is the best, and the apple of my eye and I seriously can't get enough of him.
Seriously, ask him, we are all probably annoying him cuz we never leave him alone. Not much has changed!
