Halloween 2013

We LOVE Halloween and this year was no different.  Grandpa and Grandma Erickson came down for the weekend and helped us celebrate.  I am Caden's room mom in his school class so I was in charge of the Halloween party.  Grandma Annie was a good sport to dress up as witch and make home made root beer for the party.  The kids loved her and she did such a great job.  Thanks mom!!  We had several parties this year first was the Saturday before Halloween we had the ward party and trunker treat, then both Chase and Caden had a parties at their schools.  We went trick or treating around our neighborhood Halloween night.  Caden was a skeleton Ninja, Chase was, something different every party, Iron Man, Power Ranger and a Knight, Kysen was a chicken.

 The first of October I found the boys matching skeleton PJ's.  Chase wanted to wear his pirate costume though!

Chase's 5th Birthday

My little man is 5!! Chase had a great time celebrating his 5th birthday.  We went to McDonalds with his friend Emmy for lunch before school.  At school his got to be the special helper and take cup cakes for the treat.  After school our family went swimming at the Washington City pool and then home from presents and cake.

 Chase has wanted scuba gear for a year now.  Every time we would go into Costco and they had it he would beg for me to buy it.  I am not sure why but he was so excited to get it.  We will have to take him somewhere to try it out!

 Chase got a lot of fun presents.  He got Disney Infinity game for the playstation, supper hero costumes (Chase loves to dress up year round), scuba gear, pirate sword, Doggy-Doo game, ninja turtle action figures and costume and Jakes hide out.

Chase is such a cute kid and is always making us laugh.  Some of his favorite things are the color Orange, school, ninja turtles, cheese pizza, apple juice and playing with friends.  Chase is such a happy kid and we are so happy he is part of our family.  We love you Chase!!

Kysen's 1st B-Day!!

Our Sweet Kysen turned 1!! I cant believe it, he is so cute and has been so much fun.  We had his party at our house with Grandpa and Grandma Nelson.  He got so many fun toys and clothes he didn't know what to play with first.

Kysen loves to play with his brothers, toys and go for walks.  He loves his Mom and cry's when she leaves the room.  Kysen is an excellent sleeper!! He can crawl, walks around furniture, wave bye-bye, clap to patty cake, and loves to read books.  He can say Hi, Dad and shakes his head No when he doesn't want something.  He is growing so fast and is such and sweet little boy. We love you Kysen!!

First Day of School 2013

We are back in school and the boys seem to be really excited.  Chase's first day of school was on Aug 19th.  He is going to the Washington Rec Center Preschool's 4 year old class.  They get to do Karate, Gymnastics, Zumba, Swimming and cooking at this school.  His teachers names are Mrs. Julia and Mrs. Jessica.  He seems to like his new school so far! 

 Caden is back at Riverside and is in the 2nd grade.  His teacher is Mrs. Shakespeare and he loves her already!  He started school on Aug 14th and seems to be really enjoying it.

Wyoming Summer 2013

Chad went on his annual fishing trip to Canada so the boys and I headed up to Wyoming for the week. We had so much fun and stayed busy playing with all of our friends and family.  It was so fun to see everyone and the kids loved playing with their cousins.  We went to the Rec Center swimming, pond craw dad hunting, Bear Lake, train park, and Star Valley for the Erickson Family Reunion.

Kysen had been taking amoxicillin for a ear infection and broke out in these welts on day 7 of taking the medicine.  We were in Star Valley so we took him to the local Dr there to see if they could do anything for him.  The Dr. put him on a steroid to counter act the allergic reaction and within hours you could see a huge improvement.  We wont be giving him amoxicillin again. Poor Kid!!

 This was just a couple of hours after taking his fist dose of the steroid. By the next day the spot were barley even there.  I was shocked how fast they went away!

We hiked up to the Geyser in Star Valley with my family and my Uncle Chad's family.  It was so pretty and an awesome hike.  Caden said he wished he could hike it everyday.
