I'm using Windows 7...... When I read other reviews with a complaint, the developer said to go to his website and get the latest version, so I did. I downloaded the lite version, which "claims" to be free. It downloads a zip, which contains both the "lite free version" and the PAID version. I installed the "lite free version" It's complicated to use and doesn't run correctly. I set up the program to a folder for the pdf I wanted to open. I selected where to save the pdf and had to make a folder in Windows myself because there's no option to do this in the program. It has buttons you can check of what you want it to do. All I wanted it to do was compress a pdf. But No matter what I try, the "start" button doesn't show at the bottom right of the screen like the screenshot he shows here. I tried shrinking the screen with my mouse, but it won't shrink. I tried the options in the upper right corner (minimize and restore down) but nothing works! It also shows a premium version button in the main menu of the screen, which makes me think this is not truly open source. Good luck if you can even get this thing to do any of the free functions. I say don't waste your time, and please do not give him your money!!!! This program should be removed from this site. There is no help section on his site either. The bottom of his page where it says PayPal, Visa, SSI Secured and Mastercard they are not clickable links nor do they hover to show he is certified to do this.
